Dr. Phil Clark Mclain

My most memorable doctor, of many. I was a patient of his for years and I so miss having someone like him looking after me. He really listens and gives much credit to what the patient says and feels about their own body. If I were closer to his office I would travel to see him. It's very sad more doctors are not like him.

This Dr. was very unprofessional. He's the one who got me hooked on painkillers in the first place. I got off them years later and moved, he moved practices. So a couple years later i came back to my home town to get help for my anxiety, and he was the only dr. He used my past against me and accused me of being a liar and a drug addict. I was in there because i needed help for seeing the aftermath of my brother committing suicide, shooting himself in the head with a 22-250 deer rifle. I have had nightmares, trouble sleeping, and anxiety since the incident. My previous dr. was retiring and Dr.Mclain was the only dr. in town. He refused treatment and said he was going to do every thing in his power and call every clinic to make sure i couldnt get Lorazapam which i was getting prescribed already. I went through withdrawl and had to turn to the streets to get the medicine. Then had to pay hundreds of dollars to get the help i needed. The clinic he works at is a sliding fee clinic which… provides care at a lower price. He forced me to pay hundreds of dollars to pay for the treatment he could have given me. He is the most unprofessional dr. i have ever encountered and i have dealt with every kind after breaking my back. I recommend to everyone stay away. He should have his liscence stripped for taking a visit into a personal attack on my character and my life.
