Dr. Philip Almalouf, MD

I met Dr. Almalouf when he was a speaker at a seminar on Asthma. In hearing his presentation I knew instantly that I wanted my lung problems to be managed by Dr. Almalouf. He agreed to accept me as a patient. My previous pulmonologist had treated my symptoms, but not the underlying cause. The quality of my treatment under Dr. Almalouf has been excellent. I am receiving treatment that I had not had before. My symptoms are stable.

I went to see Dr. Almalouf last week, he was so nice , listened to my problems without interrupting me. He was amazing with CARING bedside manner, very knowledgeable and meticulous. He will do necessary tests to come to an accurate diagnosis. Finally I found a doctor that I can trust!!

I love Dr. Almalouf. He's a great person, caring and a good heart. If anyone ever needs a pulmonary doctor I recommend him he's wonderful. ??

I have Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. Dr. Almalouf makes me truly feel like he is on my journey with me. He listens, advises, gives time to the appointment. I feel the best I've felt since diagnosis. I credit it to him. He should be your doctor. I'm sure he'll take care of you with the same warmth, compassion, and sharp intelligence that he too care of me with.

I started seeing Dr. Almalouf after a very unpleasant experience with another pulmonologist. I found him to be an excellent doctor; very knowledgable and, most importantly, he listened intently to all that I said. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. It is important to me that he suggested calling if and when I had any questions or problems. In addition, he called me to report the lab and breathing test results. I know that I might have to wait since my appointments are on clinic days; but the wait time has not been long as he is very busy and always booked. Intellectually I appreciate that the doctor takes the time to listen to all that a patient has to say and Dr. Almalouf doesn't hurry patients in and out. He takes all the time he feels necessary for each patient's appointment. He is my favorite and I highly recommend him!!

I've never had to wait 1 minute past my appointment time to see him. I've seen many pulmonologists in my 21 years of diagnosis, but he's been the most caring, includes my input in my treatment, and treats me like a person. He's the VERY BEST physician Mississippi has!!!

He is the most amazing person ever. I had a very bad case of asthma. He made sure I got the care needed, he even called me after hours to assure that my asthma is well controlled. We will never forget him. It's a sad thing that he is moving out of Mobile. He will be missed.

I have never met any doctor like Dr Almalouf. His care is outstanding. He goes above and beyond. He is meticulous in accumulating all historical and physical data. His special interest is in human life. His care does not end with the correct diagnosis but rather he is inexhaustibly capable of infusing into his patients insight, self-discipline, optimism and courage. Those he cannot make well, he comforts. The things he works with are intellectual capacity, unconfined clinical experience and the perceptive use of his eyes, ears, hands and heart. I feel very fortunate to have him.

Dr. Alamlouf is an excellent physician as he is very kind, caring and supportive of my ailing mom and always was informative and funny (unlike others) in visits. I would only hope other physicians aspire to be like him as he is a good role model and I will never forget how he treated my mother, with care and excellent communication skills and saved her life. He serves with honesty and integrity. He performs beyond most in his profession, god bless!
