Dr. Philip L. Berman

This Physician is irresponsible, or he has the worst health office Service. It is impossible to talk to anybody in his Office. Only LVM. They never returned my calls. Patient is waiting for Dr.Berman prescription for more than 6 months, and it is a life threatening condition. When did this physician lost all compassion for his patients?

I wish Dr Berman knew that the first contact with this clinic is the front desk. No smiles, abrupt, in person the same. A total turn off to see the doctor. Again, when you call you feel you are bothering them.

WORST doctor I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this clinic and this doctor. They absolutely do NOT care about their patients. I know -- I used to be one. They prescribed medical testing equipment to me, sent me on my way, then completely abandoned me as a patient. I had questions about the prescription, so I called the office. There is no direct contact with any nurse or doctor -- all you can do is leave a message. That's fine. I left one. No call back. So I left another a few days later. No call back. So I left another a week later. No response. So I call back to ask what is going on. This time I make sure I get a human. As with any business, you know the sales or new-business side of the business will always answer the phone. So I call the appointments line and explain my issue. I explain that nobody has called me back and it feels a bit like I've been abandoned. And I ask if I could speak with an office manager. The woman sends me to a voice mailbox. I… leave a message and nobody gets back to me. I call the appointment line again to explain what has happened. The woman tells me she will personally leave a note on the desk of the woman I need to speak with (who is gone for the day), but that she will also personally check back in with her the next morning to be sure she sees the message. She assures me she will definitely do this. No. Call. Back. Let me remind you, this is a heart doctor. So this is a potentially life-threatening heart condition we are supposed to be looking into. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor's office in all my years. What a terrible place.

Altho I had a straightforward problem (large murmur, regurgitation) he went back and did more research to be precise. Did lots of tests which allowed me to see what was going on. Breezy personality, but answers all questions. Very accurately described my problem, and how to fix it Office is usually packed, 20 min wait

I'd've seen him twice now, very sharp doc,gets to your issue fast. Great personality, highly recommend!

Great doctor. He is friendly, compassionate and listens to his patients. His diagnosis is very accurate. Knows his medicines and can answer questions about what he prescribes. He is very knowledgeable and works well with his patients.

Provided pre-op EKG and evaluation. Very good experience.

His nursing staff is very poor in providing me with lab test results. I brought this to the doctors attention and he blew up during my last office because he got tired of my complaining about his nursing staff. I really like him but his nursing staff does not get back to patients like they should. In my last office, he informed me that he had a lot going on that day and that he had enough of my accusations so he informed me that he is firing me as a patient so this office visit is completed and he got up and walked out on me. He told me four times that he was firing me as a patient. I think I got the hint the first time he told me. My only guess is that something is going on his life at this time that may be affecting his best judgement.

Dr. Berman recently saw my mother who is a 91 year old with aortic stenosis and congestive heart failure. He is wonderful! He is very kind, compassionate and friendly towards all of his patients and whenever there is a concern, he addresses it immediately and gets the issue taken care of. He is a fantastic cardiologist.
