It is difficult to build a patient doctor relationship with a doctor who does not spend any time with a patient. Most of the time I dealt with one of the assistants and there are three of them. When call you have to leave a message and wait 24 hours for an answer. You will be contacted by one of the assistants. If you miss the call you have to call again and leave a message. If you get the call and you are in the place you have no privacy you are out of luck because this is your only chance not to call and leave a message again. The communication system is set up to work efficiently for the doctors not for the patients. You are just a number there and there are many patients in line waiting.

My husband had seen another Dr. at MSK and so expected more of the same when he moved to the closer to home West Harrsion campus. Dr Caron, however, is amazing! He is thoughtful and down to earth and his warmth stays with you after the visit. My husband really feels like he cares and isn't just another name.
