Dr Philip A. Dodd, MD

Philip Adam Dodd, M.D. has badgered and harrassed my sister to the point of tears. My sister had a stillborn baby in Feb. 2020 due to placenta abruption. She has a RIGHT to be seen as high risk. First, Dodd says that he refuses to treat her like a high risk patient. So my sister went to another Doctor, who is wonderful. Unfortunately, she had to have another visit with Dodd in her 34 week of pregnancy. Dodd then bullies and harrasses her to the point of tears, asking her why is she seeing the doctor twice a week, what her new doctor is doing, and what the new doctors regiment is. My sister has PTSD from her first born passing away, and she is already having contractions, and at times is terrified that her baby isn't moving as much. She is emotionally traumatized and fearful for her baby. All my sister wants is for her baby to be alive. Dodd did not stop when he saw my sister crying. Instead, he told her "Well you wouldn't be so emotional if you didn't have so many appointments in a… week." SHE HAS TWO. WHICH IS NORMAL FOR A HIGH RISK PREGNANCY IN THE LATER MONTHS. The appointments are literally saving her, and her baby. He left notes in her portal saying that he "reassured her", which was a complete lie. My sister is a Military Wife, she has ENOUGH issues to deal with. How DARE Dodd disrespect a military member and someone who is just trying to make sure her baby is safe.

Dr. Dodd is an excellent provider. He has taken all my concerns seriously and has acted upon them, especially when I was trying to conceive. His expertise in the field and recommendations led to the conception of my son. During my pregnancy he would check in with me and address all my concerns with the utmost patience. As a first timer, I had lots of questions and concerns. He has the ability to put my mind at ease at every appointment which took the stress off of me. His assistants were all so sweet and compassionate since I got to know them over the course of my pregnancy. When it came time for my delivery that resulted in an emergency c-section, he handled the care of my baby and I in the most expedient, calm, and confident way. Since I had built a patient relationship prior, I had peace of mind knowing he was my doctor in the delivery room. I could go on and on about my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Dodd. In summary, I highly recommend him!

Dr. Todd made me feel very ashamed during a difficult time. He went as far as mocking me and my medical condition to the nurses. That was the worst medical experience of my life . I loved Sutter but because of him I switched to Kaiser.

He's the best doctor I've ever had and have had 3 children. He's very knowledgeable in his field of practice, very compassionate and extremely personable. I would message him on a Saturday night and he would get back to me Sunday morning!!! Now that's dedication. I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor to care for me during pregnancy and labor. Awesome guy.

Dr.Dodd is by far the best OB/GYN. I've come across. He sincerely cares about his patients. Any time I had an issue or concern I could message him and he would promptly get back to me no matter how big or small my issue was. The staff in his office always courteous. Wait times not bad at all. Nevera problem making an appointment. Dr Dodd not like any other doctor that may brush you off. He truly cares and is ready willing and able to help!
