Weeks ago, I had my son scheduled for a consultation about having a cyst removed. I gave the Dr's office all the info. The night before his appt., they called and said they did not accept BCBS. Who doesn't accept Blue Cross Blue Shield?

Was having severe lower abdominal pains on occasion. CT scan discovered inflamed gallbladder, had surgery on 10-27-2020 with Dr Phillip M. Edmundson and Mohammed . Frotan (my initial primary Dr for first visit). Fortunate to have both doctors present as this was a two man operation. Frotan told me he as performed around 1000 gallbladder removals and Edmundson at least a few hundred. Edmonson was primary DR on this operation. Surgery was supposed to last 1,5 hours but took 3.5 hours due to abdominal hernia mesh. Gallbladder was completely dead and filled with puss. Despite these issues surgery was performed robotic and laparoscopic. I am 69 years old and know a good DR when I have experience with one and these two are outstanding, they both did a great job.
