Dr. Philip Frndak, DO

Per my observations, experiences and recent Total Knee Arthroplasty directly relating Dr. Philip Frndak and Dr. Ryan Molli’s organization – Whole Health Orthopedic Institute, it is my firm belief that the organization in its entirety has coalesced into what I truly believe is a World Class organization. Since some may view that statement as lofty, I believe it may be potentially beneficial to elucidate on my perspective and background so-as to provide some basis for that belief. Although I have recently retired from a large international subsea oil equipment manufacturer, I have been afforded the continued emeritus status of Chief Electronic Systems Architect & Technology Fellow in perpetuity. It was in 2013 that I was selected for one of the 9 inaugural positions of Technology Fellows out of over 10,000 Engineers and Scientists that worked for the company worldwide. By virtue of being one of the Technology Fellows for the company, I had the honor of working, observing and… collaborating with some of the greatest minds in their respective fields around the world. Although in many of these relationships I was not the Subject Matter Expert, the commonality of these groups and individuals became quite evident regarding their professionalism, effectiveness and success. These individuals and groups displayed keen depth of knowledge, thoroughness, passion for their work, willingness (if not insistence) to educate, explain and listen all the while adjusting to the level of their audience, openness to diversity, continuous self-education, self-motivation, collaboration, confidence, congratulatory and uplifting demeanors. These are just some of the virtuous attributes surroundings these people. These same attributes are what I have observed from Dr. Frndak and every one of the plethora of team members throughout the organization that I have had the honor to meet and collaborate whether in the Meadville office, Edgewood Surgical Hospital or Erie office. Finding, assembling and nurturing such a vast caliber of people into a cohesive, synergistic and effective whole is NOT a small feat. Dr. Frndak and Dr. Molli, as well as everyone in the organization, should feel very proud of what has been collectively accomplished – It is surely an honor well deserved. I, as a member of this community, thank all of them for bringing this World Class organization to fruition in this region. It is my hope that everyone in the organization know that their efforts are appreciated and recognized.

The staff was awesome and very professional. Dr. Frndak was extremely thorough and I never felt as if I was rushed during my visits. PA-C Barbara Hoffman was very knowledgeable, compassionate and extremely helpful. They really care about their patients strive to make your quality of life better. I would highly recommend them for you orthopedic needs.

I was in severe pain and using a walker before I had total knee by Dr. Frndak. I was PAIN FREE hours after surgery and I am walking without a cane now. I am 75 yrs old and have a new lease on life. Also the experience at Edgewood was 5 star. I cant Thank You enough Dr. Frndak. Connie C.

I am a 65 year-old man who recently had a two full knee replacements. I gave Dr. Frndak and Whole Health Orthopedic Institute 5 Stars which, for some readers, may be suspect but in my experience, I simply do not have a reason to give less than 5 stars. • Dr. Frndak and the Whole Health team are knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. • Offices are located in a beautiful new facility in Meadville PA with attached coffee shop/bakery. • Dr. Frndak was the most consistently recommended surgeon by people that previously had knee surgery. • A Physical Therapy acquaintance said that, in his experience, surgeries from Whole Health consistently have more positive outcomes than some others. • Patient education was highly effective in preparing me for the process. • Dr. Frndak uses a surgical hospital rather than a general hospital • Pain control meds and processes are very effective. I had surprisingly minimal pain with both knees. • Follow-up by both Dr. Frndak and the Whole Health team… provide a real sense of security—someone is available 24/7 for questions and solutions. • 12 weeks after my first surgery and 5 weeks after the second surgery, recovery is progressing at least as well as expected—though it typically takes a year for full recovery, my knees are already much less painful than they were before surgery.

Dr. Frndak is an AMAZING SURGEON. After being turned away from two other Doctors due to the severity of my case, I ended up going to see Dr. Frndak from a referral. He is caring, professional, knowledgeable and the BEST surgeon. I am 6 weeks post op from a knee replacement and I am pain free and walking without a device or a limp. This is after three years of walking bone on bone. Do the best thing you can for yourself, call Dr. Frndak first!!!!!

Dr Frndak did a very good good replacing my right knee. He is very caring & professional. He explained all the details and what to do in a manner I could easily understand. When at his office for an appointment the girls all are also very professional, caring & laid back. They make your visit very relaxing. I will be back to have my left knee done when it's time!

Dr. Frndak replaced my rt knee in May of 2021. I have been extremely happy and plan to very soon have my left knee replaced by him.

i have had partial knees replaced on both sides within the last year. I could not be happier with the results.From start to finish ,from my first visit to post op how i was kept informed and checked on by the hospital to Dr.Frndak calling me at home the next morning. Great care.I would not recommend anybody else. I wish I would have done this 5 years ago. thank you.
