Dr. Philip Gibbs, MD

First off, Dr. Gibbs has a bad habit of performing tests without specifying what they are for or why he is doing them. To top that off, Dr. Gibbs once ordered testing equipment to be delivered to my home without even bothering to let me know he wanted to do the test, let alone receiving permission to do so! The capstone of my issues with this doctor was when he became verbally abusive and physically rough during an exam because I refused to take a prescription for a medication I had researched and did not want to deal with the known side effects. This is not even taking into account the state of the office and exam rooms, or their record keeping (all on paper and they charge an exorbitant fee to provide you with a copy of your records). Their equipment is all outdated and the scale they used was inaccurate according to the head nurse. The staff in general is not very professional and heaven help you if you question anything. Find a different doctor unless you have literally no… other choice!

Visit began in a promising way, short wait, friendly greeting, but then the intake nurse shot through a list of questions so quickly that it appeared she was not even listening to the answers. This was even more apparent as she repeated the questions up to four times. Then sh initiated some tests that did not seem to be related to my reason for visiting. After this, I waited for more than 20 minutes. Dr Gibbs came in, asked a few questions and brought the conversation to a point where I could ask about my pain management. I wanted to review what I am currently using and see how I could get better relief. Dr assumed he knew what I was going to say, jumped to the conclusion that he wanted to and left the room without finishing the conversation or covering the reasons for the visit. During my wait time I heard them accept a walk-in patient putting the wait even longer. It is my opinion that if doctors and staff are too busy to listen, they are too busy to be effective… in their care.

Dr Gibbs is extremely thorough and has the wit of a Welshman, which I find very refreshing. He is an excellent Gentleman at the top of his feild! Best Dr. Ever! Feel safe and well cared for. Has attentive and helpful support staff. Supemior service!!! Very happy to receive such Care.

Dr Gibbs is old and should possibly have retired 12 plus years ago. He is always in a hurry. He makes you wait an hour in his outdated waiting room way far away from the view of the office people, so you feel like you have possibly been forgotten about. They make you sit in uncomfortable chairs in am office that looks like it's not been updated since about 1965. When you finally do get your name called by one of his grumpy office staff, or possibly by one of his grumpy nurses. They weigh you on an outdated scale and take your BP with some old BP machine, which by the way, I don't think they know how to use either one. The one nurse, who is short, kind of heavy set, and is pregnant every 10 months, is the rudest person on earth. If you call her for anything she cuts you off and has absolutely no manners, none of them do. They are all rude and lazy!!!! There patient rooms are old and outdated just like there waiting room. They bring in some old outdated EKG machine. I do not even have… much confidence that they ate using it accurately : / When Dr Gibbs does finally come in, he doesn't listen, doesn't explain anything, basically flutters on in, and flutters on out. Zero bed side manner! They have no computers, so he writes everything down, takes very bad notes etc. The lady who takes your blood down the hall is also very rude. I had asked her to order small needles because I have tiny veins and she regused, so I started going to PACLab, but yet, everyone they try to get me to go to her, and one time when they came in and we trying to make me go just a few feet down the hall to there "LAB" I had to remind them once again about why I don't let them do my blood work, and that I needed a Lab slip to go to Pac Lab, they were right outside the door and I heard the lady that does the blood asking where I was, and the nurse said she is going to Pac Lab, I heard her use Profanity and in a very angry voice say ",I don't care where in the he'll she goes". Stay away from this place.

Office people are short tempered, rude, just plain ole nasty towards you. Billing is wrong, over charges, must not be able to keep track of who's already paid. Office cluttere& messy. Don't want to listen to you, cut you off. Skip this heartache of a joke!!!
