Dr. Philip Albert Grossi, MD

I wrote this long review about Dr. Grossi that I don't know if it got through so this is a shortened version for 10+ years he has been my doctor if I or he has10 more he still will be. Dr. Grossi listens others hear. There is a big difference. Dr. Grossi often will use some older meds that younger doctors shy away from because they have been told of side effects. fiffece. Dr. Grossi will use the new meds but if they aren't working he will try older meds, this is his specialty he was trained in medicine he was working in pharmaceuticals when Prozac came and thought psychiatry could change and he could help more patients then but foremost he tells patients the things (food, drug interactions etc.) that they need to be careful about when he trys the older or different types of combinations that younger doctors aren't as aware of (or so I am thinking - I of course do not know ). The key words are on the doctors part is for them to listen and on patients part is to ask. Doctors tend to… hear that is not the same as listening. When you hear a noise you just hear a sound when you listen to a sound you know what that sound is - books falling off the shelf or someone falling down the stairs. Anyhow Dr. Grossi listens - he has stood by me for years I have seen other doctors who 10+ years ago charged me more that doctor Grossi charges me today, granted it was for more time but with them I got more depressed, I am much better with Dr. Grossi. Everyone gets along with different doctors differemtly so really the best part is that again Dr. Grossi listens and will help you with a direction to go. Dr. Grossi doesn't has to be part of that direction but he will help you find it he won't let you down that is why I give him 5 stars - If you read this and decide to go and after decide that is not a good fit tell him and ask him the questions you need to make the change without going out and getting lost and more depressed he would never want that and if your angry calmly tell him you are angry or if your happy tell him that too - you know people like to hear the good parts as well as the bad parts and when you laugh it doesn't mean you aren't still just as sad or depressed - well that's it for me

Dr. Grossi helped me with my mental illness in a supportive professional way.

If you have a difficult problem, Dr. Grossi is the man to help. He has a very wide range of experience and, because he's in private practice, he has to be effective in helping his clients, else he won't have clients! And he's just the best. I've had a lot of experience in this area with others - Dr. Grossi is smart, accurate, experienced, and, well, just the best person one could want to help with difficult problem(s).
