Dr. Philip Todd Hardy, MD

I called Dr. Hardy’s office to follow up on the additional labs he mentioned at my last visit, since I’ve been feeling tired and weak. I emailed the nurse as instructed but received no response. When I called, Ricketta W. told me she was “busy,” which is why she hadn’t returned my email, and I overheard her say, “I don’t know what’s wrong with people today.” Her tone throughout the call was rude and dismissive. Although Dr. Hardy is a great physician, this experience with his staff was unacceptable. I’ve requested my medical records and will be seeking care elsewhere. If I could put less stars I would have.

Legacy Family Medicine Clinc has been for almost now 7 years part of my family. Their excellent aproach to my medical needs as an individual and wonderful customer service has being helpful to me and as well to my family. I’m a pro active patient that usually never needs to see a doctor unless is required by regular test due to my age or getting sick not very often. Still each visit they take the time to make sure I truly understand what is happening with my symptoms and how they can help me. They explain every detail of test and treatments available and possible outcomes. They have been always honest and transparent when it comes to tell me me the truth of what ever is happening to me. And also they sure show commitment to help me thru what ever medical issues I need to takecare off. They always keep their professionalism from the call scheduling appointment to walking in the door to the medical visit to the end of the visit. Still making you feel home and well take care off. Thank… you to all the health staff, nurses, assistants, MD,PA,DR,ARNP, all health medical staff you all rock!!! Thank you for what you do every day! God Bless you all. Dr. Hardy has been my provider for over 15 years. He is the only provider that has not only taken the time to listen to my health concerns but he also takes an interest in the person as a whole. I have found the closest thing to relief thanks to his ability to listen to me as a patient and person. Dr. Hardy is the best doctor in his field. Thank you Doc for being you Lexxie

This is the first doctor that has ever really sat down with me and gave me time. He actually listens and has true empathy and understands. I am just talking about regular checkups and routine appointments. I thought my OBGYN was amazing when I was pregnant, because before Dr. Hardy, that was the only doctor that seemed to give me a moment of her time to listen and discuss. However, Dr. Hardy goes above and beyond even that. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is truly the best doctor I have ever met. I am very lucky to have found him and his practice.

His office had me do two appointments for my wellness check and charged for the second appointment which was for receiving the lab results. I assume this two appointment practice is a scheme to get an extra office visit out of the patients and generate more money. Very deceitful practice and rude office manager, be cautious. How can you trust a doctor on diagnostics if he runs his practice this way?

It is hard to find a medical provider that is intelligent, compassionate and with the bedside manners of Dr. Hardy. His staff is trained to make you feel confortable and informed. I can't talk highly enough of Dr. Hardy and staff. If you are searching for a primary care doctor that will help you, hear you, and will put his whole heart in your treatment, then this is the guy you got to see. Some of the bitter and damaging comments here really surprise me. It is really easy, if you have insurance there is always a copay or deductible. It is part of your contract worh your insurance. Therefore, any doctor has to collect payment. Don't expect services to be rendered for free, it is your responsibility to know how your insurance work. There is no insurance that pays for everything. So for you reviewing this amazing doctor and office in a negative way, I have never had a money issue with this… office and what I got charged was my responsibility! Going back to the subject, Dr. Hardy is simply the best!

Here is clinic with medical staff who care. They are polite and helpful on the phone and friendly. The Dr and PAs are very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend this clinic. Sometimes who need to wait a little longer but like great things in life...this office is great!

I started seeing Dr. Hardy back in 2006 and it was the best decision ever! My husband and I move around a lot, due to the military. I was ecstatic when we moved back to the Orlando area because there was no doubt in my mind that I would make the drive to keep him as my PCP. He's one of a kind and has taken great care of me. He's very empathetic, patient, great listener, and wants to solve the problem. I saw some posts on here how some people don't like all the fliers he has for alternative medicine. He is showing that's an option. He never forces that down your throat or brings it up unless you do. Sometimes, alternative medicine is better than the actual prescription chemicals being put into your body. It's hard to find a doctor like him, especially in Central Florida. He's wonderful and I would absolutely recommend him!
