Dr. Holzknecht repaired ligaments in my ankle over a year ago and my ankle is stronger than ever, great service and care by the entire office.

Dr. H did 2 surgeries on my right shoulder. After the first one, he disregarded my complaints of pain,(I have a VERY high pain tolerance. After a 2nd MRI, we found that I had shredded everything inside of my shoulder. He put patch material in the 2nd time he did surgery. After a few months, he sent me to Richmond to Dr. Young, and Dr. Kiritsis, for a second option. General consensus was they had seen a lot of his work and unfortunately his work was sub par. Also they said he never should have used the patch material in my shoulder. I have lost over 1/2 of the use of my right arm because of this and I know 2 other people that he did the same thing to. DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. HOLZKNECHT FOR ANY SURGERY

I went to him for my knees and got to see the PA even though I made appointment with him. He spent 2 mins and smile that was going to do surgery on my knee and by the way he did not explain everything about the surgery or my choices of alternative procedure. Last visit was 3 rd visit and I got my pain med stolen at work. I was honest and told him, then he treated like a criminal and instructed me to go to the police which I did. That was it he promise refill my med -it was not norcatic. I cried and suffer through pain while working 12 hrs shifts and I did not want to have suergery but I need it done. I got 2nd doct not from his practice. I got my surgery. He was so unprofessional and he did care about me. Just about money from the surgery I belived.

I had an excellent experience with Dr Holzknecht and his stall. I was having knee problems and expecting a knee replacement. Dr Holtznecht did a thorough orthoscopic surgery on my knee which allowed me to put further surgery on the back burner. Great doctor and pleasant personality.

Great results with Dr. Holzknecht, I requested him to repair my right shoulder after the great results I had after her repaired my left shoulder. Outstanding results with both surgeries and follow up treatment.
