Dr. Philip Henry Johnson, MD

He wasn't really concerned about me because didn't have the insurance he thought, I should have. His nurse wasn't friendly cut me off when I was still talking. I won't be going back at all. Asking questions that didn't have any thing to do with my business.

My sister and I have both recently been treated for shoulder problems by Dr. Johnson. We are very pleased with our care. He and his staff, especially his nurse Dee are very caring, efficient and professional. I refer all my friends and family to him for their orthopedic problems.

Went in for shoulder surgery. Had three different procedures done on my left shoulder. My concerns and pain were quickly dismissed. I kept telling them something was wrong. Dr. Johnson would never stay in the room long enough to verify. My aftercare visits lasted all of five minutes. Therapy to get the use of my arm was nonexistent. if it hadn’t been for my sister who has had previous shoulder surgery I would not have use of my arm because I was not sent to therapy or given any therapy exercises and I asked multiple times. My shoulder continues to hurt to this day and it pops constantly. It was finally on my last visit that I was willing to go to that I was able to get him to explain to me exactly what he had done to my shoulder.

Dr. Johnson is very professional... He is very knowledgeable in his field and listens to his patients concerns...I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of an Othropedic physician.

Dr. Johnson's staff is very courteous and efficient. I have never had to wait over 10 minutes for my appointment. I had surgery on my thumb in January 2017 for locking thumb syndrome and could use my thumb before I left out patient surgery. I had Knee replacement surgery on 10/19/17 and I am up and walking and back at work on 11/6/17. Patient care is exceptional with all questions answered when asked. I was so disappointed. Dr. Johnson may have done his job but it was careless. I was given no help with therapy. I had a broken wrist and was checked but when i went back i was still not able to do therapy because of the swelling in my fingers, and was not given the true reason why i had such pain. He sort of said i had RSD but never really diagnosed. He said i should move my fingers up and down. That didn't help at All in fact it made it worse. I finally went to therapy and 2 months later I am still in pain and working through things we should have had some consultation about. His nurse tried to help, meds would knock me out so i took them to stop the pain. Eventually i was able to get off drugs totally and am working my hands to keep it nimble. I would not recommend this facility if i had to do it again. Hopefully never.

I went to Dr. Johnson for a knee problem that has been causing me intense pain. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a doctor. He must have immediately assumed that all I wanted was painkillers. At one point, he asked me whether I wanted "dope or drugs." He also suggested that I go to Colorado for pain relief (marijuana is legal there). I'm a 60-year old teacher, and I did not appreciate being treated like a drug addict! He never even touched my knee except to inject cortisone into it.
