Summary
Dr. Adam Jones completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Business at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. He was then accepted to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. Dr. Jones chose Foot and Ankle surgery for several reasons. First of all, he enjoys working with his hands to build and repair things and this field gives him that opportunity. Second, he has always enjoyed the principles of physics and the principles behind things working the way that they do and in the foot and ankle. There is a chain of things that have to be working together for proper function. Lastly, this is a field of medicine in which Dr. Jones can often help people feel better in an immediate fashion which is very unique in medicine. Adam Jones, DPM really enjoys the more complex procedures. Things such as total ankle replacements, ankle arthroscopy, achilles tendon pathology, flatfoot reconstruction as well as major joint fusions, he also really enjoys foot …and ankle trauma. Dr. Adam Jones was fortunate to have a very intense surgical residency where he was able to operate on some of the most complex deformities that occur in the foot and ankle.
