Dr. Philip J. Kahn, MD

Dr. Philip khan was the first rheumatologist I had when I first was diagnosed with RA at 16yrs old. I remember I could barely walk and he provided the right treatment for me. I’m forever grateful for him.

brought my son to see Dr. Khan who did absolutely nothing to help him with his pain. This was by far one of the worst human beings who calls himself a care giver I had ever met. His incompetence was only matched by his inflated ego. God help anyone who takes their child to see this snake oil sales men. Please find another hospital for Rheumatology. NYU is a joke for making him director of anything.

Dr. Kahn is a great Rheumatologist compare to a rheumatologist I had over at Northwell. He listens and doesn't make a treatment plan on his own, he always make sure it's ok with us before we makes a plan. I highly recommend this doctor.

This doctor misquoted my sister (the child's mother) on his records. He made a notation that the mom said that the child as LOSING weight. This was not true...the child was gaining slowly but NOT losing weight. My sister did not notice the error in the doctor's part until a couple of years after the fact. The family is going through a legal issue and records must be precise and accurate. The child's lifelong pediatrician will attest to the fact that the child was gaining slowly but not losing weight (and there is a huge difference) so we will defer back to him for a written statement. Dr. Kahn flatly refused to make the necessary correction and would not even take the time or make the effort to contact the pediatrician to confirm. This is crazy as far as I am concerned and speaks volumes about this so called doctor's integrity and character...or lack thereof!

Dr Kahn made My son very comfortable. Also put my mind at ease. Great guy very easy to talk to and right on point with results.

dont waste your time, take your children to someone who cares

Dr. Kahn is a great doctor! It is very unfair to judge him based on personal insurance problems or first impressions (everyone has a bad day). In the many years I have been seeing him he has always been welcoming, attentive, caring and knowledgeable. He is absolutely wonderful with children and adolescents.

I have been his patient for 7 years now and it is with a heavy heart that I am moving to an adult Rheumatologist. Dr. Kahn is a superstar, he is knowledgable, caring and approachable.

I was dignosed with JRA at 16 yrs old and I remember when I met him I couldn't walk. He's the best.
