Dr. Philip Kaplan, MD

If I was writing this review 5 years ago I would have given him a high review as well. Dr. Kaplan has been my primary for over a decade but my interactions have become extremely unpleasant in the last few years. I don't know what happened but his friendly demeanor is entirely gone. Unfortunately, I have decided that enough is enough and I am looking for a new practice for me and my whole family.

I am very impressed with Dr. Kaplan's practice. His staff is great, especially Jenny, his office manager. He is so thorough and patient, I've asked that my 96 year old mother be accepted into this practice. I was a bundle of nerves when I arrived here recently, due to an upcoming surgery, and Dr. Kaplan was able to calm me down and put things in perspective. I can't thank him enough.

Doctors in a hurry. Serious matters are referred to nurse practitioner...

Dr Kaplan is an excellent doctor. He is direct and honest. If is does not know and answer he admits it and tries to find out the answer. His reception staff person is unprofessional and lacking in compassion. I have been trying to get an appointment and no one picks up the phone during business hours. Sometimes the phone is disconnected directly without anyone picking up.
