Dr. Philip Lloyd Leggett, MD

Please consider reviewing the court case Joplin vs. Leggett prior to meeting with this doctor. Our family experienced a near fatal incident with Dr. Leggett. Unfortunately Texas Law protects doctors like him. Our case went farther than any other medical malpractice case and he still walked away with no consequence. Yet or lives are changed forever. All patients deserve better. It is not worth the risk to you or your family to see this doctor when there are so many others. It's time to change the law in Texas, to stop doctors like this.

If the public could hear the way this man behaves in surgery they would wonder how he still has a job. It is beyond my comprehension how he has not been sued by his fellows, the hospital or his patients. He is an HR nightmare. He cusses, calls everyone stupid and “retards”, berates the entire hospital staff. A male tech was holding a patient who was moving while under anesthesia. Dr Leggett said, “What are you doing!? You look like you’re trying to suck his d*ck!”. He also told one of his fellows that she was so bad he should “hire a handicap because at least they are fun to watch”. He screams, clinches his fists and stomps his feet like a 2 year old. He makes his fellows so nervous that they are going to hurt someone. He needs his medication license taken away.

I had 2 exelents surgicals

I have had several procedures performed by Dr. Leggett. Everything has been explained before the surgery, procedures have been flawless, and recovery just as Dr. Leggett said they would be. Dr Leggett shows true concern and understanding, which gave me a peace, greatly reduced anxiety level going in. Follow-up has been thorough and prompt. I would not use any other surgeon.

I've had several procedures from Dr. Leggett. All went very well. would recommend to anyone. Very professional in anything he has done for me.

Office always profession and personable. They have always gone above the basic needs of the Dr's office norm. Treat you a you come first regardless of they're schedule. Dr. Leggett very caring and compassionate!

I would like to say that Dr Phlip Leggett is one of the greatest doctors my whole family and I have ever had the pleasure to know. I can honestly say that he saved my daughters life. He is our family doctor and he is the best. My husband and I have sent numerous patients to Dr Leggett and they love him. We own a company with over 600 employees and we send anyone we can to him. We can call him day or night and get a response from his office. I know he keeps up with all the latest procedures and I trust him with my health and my whole family. Thanks Dr. Leggett.
