Philip Mataverde, DO

Dr. Mataverde has been a blessing. He diagnosed my sleep apnea but also found that there is more to my sleep disorder. He has been diligently working many avenues to help with my sleep disorder. Although I do not have narcolepsy, I am under the umbrella. Staying awake throughout the day is a challenge. I'm sorry he had to leave the area.

Having been to a number of sleep medicine clinics in the past, I found his manner not only professional and courteous, but actually concerned about finding the best solution for me instead of fulfilling some agenda of his own. I am an older patient and it seems to me that a lot of doctors have little time for older people. This was not the case at all. I feel comfortable trusting that he will do his best for me.

Nice man, terrible experience. Consider another clinic.

Dr. Mataverde is the most caring and kind hearted physician I have ever met. There needs to be more doctors like him. It is somewhat difficult to get into see him as a new patient but it is worth the wait

He is patient and takes the time to listen. He is very thorough in investigating problems and symtpoms . The Lake area is very lucky to have him. His nurses and office staff are also very good! His nurse is very patient and listens to any concerns you may have.
