Dr. Philip M. Meyers

I was sent to Dr. Philip Meyers for a second opinion by my NYC Neurosurgeon. Because I lived 6 hours away I mailed all my scans/reports. I personally received a call from Dr. Meyers and he was so kind and compassionate. He made sure I was comfortable with what he was seeing because it was the complete opposite diagnosis of my PA's diagnosis. I am so thankful I talked to the best and would highly recommend Dr. Meyers and would trust him with any procedures I needed performed. Wonderful man!

This man is not only a great Doctor he is professional, caring and takes the time to explain everything.

There is no doubt first and foremost Dr. Meyers is about doing all he can to provide his patients a safe and successful outcome. We consulted Dr. Meyers after seeing another highly recommended and highly rated doctor about an aneurysm my wife had on her upper carotid artery near her brain. After listening to him for just a few minutes it was clear he was head and shoulders above the first doctor in assessing the situation, risks, and in recommending the safest and best way to approach the problem. He is also a very rare highly renowned doctor who spends as much as needed to answer any questions and make you feel comfortable. In summary, he is one in a million and among the very best doctors you could have for his specialty.

Dr. Meyers failed to offer solid, clear recommendations and a treatment plan for a condition that he described as having the potential to be life-threatening. Additionally, he appeared not to have fully reviewed diagnostic tests that my referring doctor had sent.

In short, he performed Aneurysms Pipe Line implanting Flex Embolization on my Brain. He is one of the best Surgent Doctor on his field. BIG 5 STARS.

I traveled an hour and half looking forward to meeting someone who could shed light on a confusing and debilitating time for me. I came with a Spect scan showing decreased uptake to the right side of my brain and suspected cerebral vasculitis. Dr. Meyers informed me this was something he didn't deal with. Now six months later, I have had yet another doctor insist I see a Neurosurgery center that has experience and vasculitis. When I asked him who would be the appropriate person to talk to he had zero recommendations and seemed entirely disinterested in the my case. He ordered no further testing and provided zero feedback.

Could not ask for a better doctor. The surgery went as expected. He was very communicative and the staff was very caring.

I went in for a brain angiogram. The staff was amazing. Each staff member has their part,each explain their procedure. They make you feel at ease as they are doing your test. It helps to know you are in the best hands possible. Thank you for being so professional.

Dr. Meyers was terrific. He explained everything in plain English, very reassuring. Very caring and thorough.
