Dr. Philip D Pulaski, MD

I have done MRI and EMG twice with other doctors, Dr. Pulaski wants his own MRI with his friend Dr in Bethesda MD and EMG at his clinic. He said to me” you went to many doctors before, what you want me to do” I have pain for few years in my hip and barley can walk and I was crying from this pain when he saw me at the clinic. The result from MRI and EMG was similar to the previous and he didn’t know what cause this pain because no findings. He charged me $355 for EMG with my insurance. His team confirmed it want be high Amount. Yes right!!!! It’s all about the money. I went somewhere else and the doctor told me that I have sciatica without showing him the reports. This is supposed to be Dr. Pulaski specialty. He couldn’t figure out what is wrong with me after charging me and the insurance and fail to diagnose. On top of that he send the bill to collections with adding collection fees to hurt my credit. I don’t recommend this doctor to anyone.

I called to let the doctor know that I was running 10 mins behind time due to traffic, when I was told the doctor allows a 15 min grace period I told the lady that I will be there in time of the grace period given. Once they put me on hold for a few minutes, the lady came back and stated that the doctor said that I needed to reschedule. I understood that because, I was late!!! Got it! But then she proceeded to schedule me another appt with Dr Pulanski, but then stated that Dr. Pulanski did not want to see me, and told the lady to move me to another doctor. I was confused because I was scheduled with him. Based off of my record 6 years ago, he stated that he seen that I missed an appt with another doctor so he refused to see me. I feel that this is wrong when if I have never seen him before, and my record show that I missed 1 appointment with my previous doctor should not push me away to be seen for a serious matter. One missed appt 6 years ago! I am very… disappointed.

He does not like children, so if you visit make sure you have a sitter. Even though, my child was pretty mild mannered during my visit, he was clearly uncomfortable and irritated that I had brought my 4 mth old to the appointment. Didn't know kids were against the rules, this was not mentioned when I made my appointment.

I was able to get an appointment relatively quickly. Being in a lot of pain and with multiple other symptoms, I was encouraged. The doctor was engaged and listened well, ordering a battery of scans. I thought I was in good hands. The imaging center they sent me to seemed dubious. Three days after the imaging, I had to call the practice to see if they had the results; they finally located them. Told me they'd get them to the dr. immediately, and he would call. Instead, it was the staff who called me back, and told me the doctor "said the scans were fine." They wished me a good afternoon and hung up on me. Were they instructed to? Was he brushing me off? Were they? Was it all a scam to get the insurance payment? I still have severe symptoms and there is definitely something not right. Have to start over. Wonder how much my insurance will be willing to pay while there are doctors out there like Pulaski.

Always gets the diagnosis and treatment right where others have failed.

I really can't say enough bad things about this doctor. Besides being terrible uninformed, he is just an awful awful person. He had never even met me, yet he spent the entire time insulting me over my migraines, and saying that they weren't real or serious from the moment I walked in. After having spoken to other people, I have found out that this is a common experience. I have no idea what this guy is doing being a neurologist. He must just be a very sadistic man. Stay away from him and his practice at all costs, as the rest of the doctors there follow his lead. They are all just looking for patients where they can make an easy dollar without having the option of failure.

You are probably happy that you got this appointment.. don't be! Go Elsewhere... This is a high-volume, triple-booked, low quality practice. The staff is rude and lazy. They will make jokes behind your back. They will not properly provide information and then blame the patient. The doctor can't be bothered to listen or see you for more than 5 minutes. You have been warned!

I have been a patient of Dr. Pulaski for several years for his professional expertise of migraine headaches. He is the only Doctor in my 44 years of life, who was able to control my headaches. I always suffered from chronic, debilitating migraines every single day. I can always get an appointment when I need his help with migraines that last more than 4 days! I am always referring people to him because he has helped me so much.

The moment we entered to see him and he heard I had headache, the doctor brushed me off saying he has already seen 2 cases of headaches before me me and its just 'stress' or headache season. After taking history and exam, he again brushed me off saying its migrane. I asked him if it could be lead poisoning and he told me to see my GP fpr thatand all he would do is review my previous MRI after I send it. After the review, he never called back to confirm the diagnosis. The staff lost the MRI cd. He reviewed the MRI report (from another hospital center) and again never called back. After many phone calls, he told me to continue previous meds. He was not sure of diagnosis but thought it was migrane. My symptoms did not improve but I will not again waste time going to see him. I do not feel he has good clinical judgement and every headache is just another migrane...

Do not go here if you can afford a better doctor. The staff clearly jhas no respect for the doctor becdause they did not follow his orders -- That was lucky for me because they saved mew from useless and painfull tests. Beware!!
