Dr. Philip Leonard Roberts, MD

6 years ago I went in to Dr. Roberts because I was feeling fatigued and weak for about 4 days. He had been treating me for about 3 years. I was 63 years old. I thought it was my blood pressure. During the exam they asked me about my symptoms and did an electrocardiogram and then took to the cardiologist in the same building who started an iv and ran further test that confirmed I had suffered a heart attack 4 days earlier. My symptoms were not at all like what is usually seen. No chest pain, pressure etc. The next day I had triple bypass surgery, which included the "widow maker" artery. I was very lucky and suffered less than 10% damage because Dr. Roberts and his wonderful staff recognized what was happening and reacted perfectly.

I highly recommend Dr. Philip Roberts. He has a vast amount of medical knowledge and an outstanding depth of good judgment and personal concern for his patients. He is quick to discern the needs of his patients and makes a wise diagnosis.

I have known Dr. Roberts for over 30 years. He always spends the time with you to thoroughly explain everything.

He is very bright and knowledgeable -- he knows what to ask me about in order to thoroughly evaluate things, and he is very good at explaining things he finds or is concerned about, or why a particular thing is important

I was originally referred to him when another doctor felt my issues exceeded his narrow field of practice, and Dr. Roberts was able to find and treat several interrelated and complicated conditions. I have referred several friends to him and all of them are very pleased with his exceptional care. The staff in his office also reflect excellent service and are part of Dr. Robert's great treatment team.
