Dr. Philip Rene Roberts, MD

Brought my 5 year old with a UTI to ER in Leander. 20 Mins and $2800 later she is diagnosed as anticipated. My insurance pays the bill. Then I get a bill from Dr. Roberts looking for his extra $68 since CPRMC is in Network....but he isn't. I have 100% coverage on ER visits. Dr. Roberts sends the leftover $68 to a collection agency when it was supposed to be written off. Guess most people just blindly pay these crooks. Not me. My insurance company had to straighten the whole thing out. No wonder this guy cant get a job anywhere else. And I know he doesn't even read these reviews......he couldn't care less.....you're all just a number in his bank account. Generally speaking, I have never had anyone competent in the accounting department of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. I will always drive past the main emergency facility to get to a real ER in Austin. Id rather die on the way.
