Dr. Philip Serbin, MD

Dr. Serbin should not even be practicing medicine. My grandfather went to him for bladder problems. Dr. Serbin did tests that plainly showed bladder cancer. Instead of setting up my grandfather with a specialist or even getting back to him, this doctor went out of town for a couple of MONTHS and didn't even BOTHER to tell my grandfather he had an aggressive form of cancer. After a month or so of calling Dr. Serbin's office, and unsuccessfully trying to get any information about the test results, my grandfather finally couldn't handle the pain anymore, and he went to another urologist. The new urologist was eventually able to get the test results from the first test Dr.Serbin did, and the cancer mass had gone from marble size to baseball size. This eventually led to my grandfather's death. The second urologist said that if Dr. Serbin had only taken action, the cancer would have easily been caught early enough to remove in one simple operation. Instead, my grandfather endured several… surgeries, radiation therapy, excruciating urination problems and more because of this doctor's absolute incompetence and complete lack of care for patients. One phone call telling my grandfather he had cancer before Dr. Serbin took a months long vacation was all it would have taken. Doctors make mistakes sometimes, they are human. But this goes beyond making a mistake into just practicing human decency, at which Dr. Serbin fails miserably.

did surgery got infection told me it was scar tissue went to someone else they went in and cleaned out infection this dr didnt know what it was but was ready to cut not my kind of dr.

This doctor is kind, knowledgeable, understanding, a complete breath of fresh air! Finding out your husband has cancer at a very young age is very difficult as you can imaging. Dr. Serbin and his team have been supportive, informative, and an absolute answer to prayer! He works for the patient, not the insurance companies and government!
