Dr. Philip Edward Tomsik, MD

Dr. Tomsik has been my primary care Dr for a few years now and I can’t say enough good things about him. His care, knowledge and bedside manner are all above and beyond. He always makes me feel listened to, and like he actually cares about me and my health. He’s respectful, and has never made me feel uncomfortable or upset. He’s a very professional person and has helped me so much in my health journey and I will always be grateful for him helping and adding his input and support. I genuinely can’t think about losing him as a doctor because dr’s like him are so rare to come by these days. I highly recommend him to anyone in search of a new primary care physician.

I went to this doctor way back when he was in Lakewood In North Coast health Ministry a free clinic back then he was a good doctor but now that he has his office in Brookpark Ohio it seems that he has a lot of patients and he doesnt care for his patients anymore. Emailing him thru mychart is like playing a game because he never gets in touch and when called the office his rude staff answered and told me he has patients all day,. Can't he take a break and answer his emails or call back for something important regarding my health. I will never go back to him even thou he has good reviews in the cleveland clinic webote and everywhere and I considered him a good doctor but what he did was a no no . He needs to take care of his patients.To make the story a little bit more i switch doctors and they ran a EKG and it looks like im having heart problems and he would n't do anything at all. Just be careful who you choose as your doctor

The staff at Brookpark has never smiled any time I’ve been there. I feel like I am bothering them by being there. Dr. Tomsik is a great doc and a very nice guy. I’ve seen him twice. Every other time I’ve tried to get in with him, he is booked and I have to see Dr. Battisti. That guy is creepy. There is something about him that just doesn’t sit right with me. The straw that broke the camels back with me and made me go to another doctor is their prescription policy. See, when you have zero refills left YOU have to call them to get it refilled. If your pharmacist calls in to get it refilled they refuse it. So, you have to call them and ask them to refill it. Then they say ok, and call it in. WHY DO I HAVE TO CALL THEM???? DONT THEY TRUST THE PHARMACIST?? I asked my pharmacist if this is normal. He said no, it is not. There are only a couple doctors that make the patients call them. Most doctors want to see you once a year to see how you are doing. These guys don’t, they… just want you to take time out of your day to call them and ask for a refill. I asked the girl who answered the phone in their office why do I have to call when I need a prescription refilled. She said” well we might need to look at your chart”. YOU DON’T NEED ME ON THE PHONE TO LOOK AT MY CHART!!!

The Doctor is the best will recomend to anbody needing a family medicine Doctor!!

Dr. Tomsik is the best family practitioner I have had. He is reliable, helpful and listens to the concerns that I have. He explains test results that may seem confusing and informs me of any medications and their possible side effects. He never puts me through any tests or assessments that I do not want to go through or are not necessary but is always helpful in letting me know if tests should be ran and why. He follows up whenever I am on a medication and answers quickly via email through the Cleveland Clinic My Chart website. I could not ask for a better doctor.

Never have I had a doctor that was as good and caring. He takes the time to actually know what is going on with my health.

Through and compassionate. Very comfortable to be in his hands.

Dr Tomsik takes time to listen to my question and answers them as well. He makes sure that I understand what tests and treatments are for. I have never felt like I was being rushed in and out as if there's a quota. We need many, many more doctors to learn from this man.

Dr Tomsik is the best doctor I have ever had. He had corrected quite a few of my health problem, the end result was getting everything manageable to prevent future problem. His bed side manner is excellent and he always explained things in a fashion that I fully under understood. Taking the time to explore all my options .
