I have been under Dr. Utters care since mid 2016, when I got out of bed and could not walk or hold myself upright. His staff and him were extremely attentive and made me feel certain I would walk again, I did did just that a few days after surgery involving T9 T12 spinal fusion. Since that time I have had to go through both lumbar and cervical fusions to maintain some common life function If there is a finer spinal surgeon out there he sure better eat his Wheaties to be better than Dr Utter and his staff. FYI I have advanced Degenerative Disc disease which unfortunately has led to a number of surgeries and all very affective.

Dr. is absolutely the BEST. He is kind, caring, great bedside manner, spends time anwering questions, is extremely knowlegeable and technically excellent. I am thankful he is located so close to my home!

I collasped fractured my L2 vertabre. Dr. Utter completed surgery on me last yesterday. Already feeling good today with minimal pain. Great surgeon ansd super nice guy.

Dr Utter is hands down the best Dr. And the ONLY doctor I would ever go back to for surgery. I had a discectomy done in 2010 and wanted to have a minimally invasive surgery. Dr Utter did an excellent job and was very honest and sincere in his approach. He spent more time with me than any doctor has ever spent. He explained things thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Although I now live in a different state, I would go back to Shreveport to see Dr Utter for any future spinal care that I may need.

Dr. Utter is the best doctor I have ever been too. He performed my back surgery in 2011 and was wonderful. He takes more time with me than any doctor I have ever been to. He is honest and very thorough, and makes sure you understand everything completely. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
