Dr. Philip Louis Walden, MD

I came in experiencing severe pain in my foot. I was taken care of by Dr. Walden. He diagnosed the issue as gout related and provided me with a prescription to alleviate the pain. I am writing this review because it is rare that today’s doctors spend time to figure out what is really going on. Dr. Walden treated me like a human instead of the next number in a line.

Dr. Walden was condescending and dismissive. Do not seek his care if you need insight into a medical problem that doesn’t have an obvious solution.

Came to Hackensack Medical complaining of leg weakness. Saw Dr Philip Walden. He went over a few different test with me and ordered some blood work. When blood work came back it was a basic CDC panel witth TSH. He said to me he ordered a Lyme test as that was a possibility and that it wouldnt be ready that day. When i called Hackensack Medical 4 days later to find out results they told me it was never ordered. I had a feeling it wasn't as he rushed me out of there. Never even ordered a CK test or any test regarding muscle testing to see if there was any muscle damage. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Very disappointed with Hacensack Medical Center

I had Dr. Walden in the ER at Hackensack North and he so good. Would not let me leave until he was satisfied that I was OK. I would highly recommend him. Very nice person as well.

Dr. Walden is a fantastic doctor at Hackensack Medical. To my knoweledge, he doesn't have a private practice so I don't know if the other rating is for the wrong person. But, Dr. Walden's bedside manner, knowledge, patience and follow-up are outstanding. Most of the doctors at Hackensack are amazing. Dr. Walden knows what he's doing and I'm grateful for his help.
