Dr. Philip Arthur Waldor, MD

I was very blessed to have been operated on by such a highly skilled and caring surgeon. His prompt decisive action to do an emergency appendectomy and exploratory surgery along with his skills as my surgeon truly saved my life. I had been undiagnosed by two other Doctors, sent home with medication and also had a blood test at Phoenixville Hospital. I was sent home. Thus by Monday, I was at the end and was rushed to the hospital. Dr. Waldor was in the room as I was receiving the Testing and promptly advised me that I had minutes to emergency surgery. I had a burst appendix along with a very large abscess which was collecting the poison of the appendix. I remember this Dr.'s caring manner and concern as I had two small little boys 4 & 7 yrs. old that I had to live for. I made it through less a ft. of large intestines, less an appendix and that nasty abscess. Where two other doctors had failed to take my pain and symptoms seriously and the hospital not performing tests that should have… been performed, Dr. Waldor performed with his greatest ability to save my life. The second time he saved my life was after I was released from the hoospital days after surgery, I was rushed back due to complications. The Insurance Company was giving him a hard time and I listened to him fight for me to have me covered once again. He had to scream at the Insurance Providers but he won and once again I was saved. I have been thankful and will always be thankful that he was my Surgeon. I would gladly speak on his behalf to let people know how this Doctor was exemplary.
