Dr. Philip Jason Wexler, MD

Dr. Wexler is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine, and is also Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.





Dr. Wexler was raised in Staten Island, New York. He received his undergraduate degree form the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He completed his internship and residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where he received the Kowlessar Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine.



He completed his subspecialty training in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, Allergy and Immunology at the Boston University Medical Center, Boston, Ma. He performed clinical-translational research in asthma and allergic rhinitis, presented abstracts at several national society meetings, and wrote a chapter on the diagnosis and management of chronic rhinosinusitis in the 2009 publication of Challenging …Cases in Allergy and Immunology while a fellow at Boston University.



Dr. Wexler's clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and allergic airway diseases, rhinosinusitis, urticaria, angioedema, drug, food, and stinging insect allergy, anaphylaxis, environmental allergen control, and COPD. He is specially trained to perform hypersensitivity skin testing and allergen immunotherapy to control allergic asthma, allergic conjunctivitis, and allergic rhinitis.
