Dr. Philip Leigh Withnell, MD

Dr. Withnell is excellent! He is serious - but always smiles, focused and always interested in the patients health. He has always provided me with a comprehensive interview and discussion to insure all of my concerns/complaints are properly and effectively addressed. My blood tests are always completed the week before. He provides the results on my patient portal immediately and I can formulate questions for discussion during my appointment. I always leave his office with an action plan which includes "proactive" actions to avert potential future health challenges. I am always interested in helping Dr. Withnell - through discussions and questions, help me to achieve great health. I strongly recommend Dr. Withnell for patients serious about "effectively and proactively managing" their health.

Spends a good amount of time with you, asks questions, has a sense of humor. Staff is friendly, wait times are non existent

Dr. Withnell is rude and very condescending in his approach to your ailments that ranges from colds to something major. He has no sympathy and a bed side manner of a stack of bricks. He also bragged about going to Ireland recently and that must have made him feel like a big man. He complains if you are a little over weight, also. My take on this is: Pot-kettle.

Dr. Withnell was incredibly rude, at this time I would refer to him as a bully. He was very short and incredibly bothered by me asking him about my concerns for my health. His bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. I left his office in tears and I do not cry easily. As I waited patiently in the room, I could hear him sarcastically making remarks about other patients, obviously someone else who questioned his diagnosis or had concerns about their health.

He is extremely rude. I liked it better when Dr.Lago was there. He doesn't listen and in being a fellow healthcare worker I would figure that's important.
