Dr. Z is the best in the west

Excellent care.

I actually had a horrible experience with Dr. Zylstra. I had switched doctors and chose to go to him after reading his credentials which seemed amazing. I was shocked at the whole experience during that visit. I went home to my husband and just cried. I took my son there for his one month check up. I brought up the fact that my son had a major wheezing issue..which the doctors at the hospital told me to follow up with his normal doctor at his one month check up. Dr. Zylstra said he sounded fine no issues. No follow up call to see if my baby was ok...nothing. My 12 year old daughter was with me as well...and she was completely uncomfortable with his bedside mannerism. I scheduled a separate appointment with a different doctor at the same clinic and they referred us to Childrens Hospital for a review. I would never refer anyone to Dr. Zylstra.

Gotta love DR.Z best Dr ever! he is up front and honest ! Part of the family! Diagnoses are always right on! He truly cares for his patients! And is there for you!

My husband started seeing Dr. Zylstra about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I then changed to him about a year ago. He is a "in your face" but very nice about it, doctor. I am meaning if you have a heart problem (just an example), and you are not taking your medications, he will be straight forward and ask you if you want to die, and if not, start taking your meds! He is flat out honest in a very nice way and doesn't mind spending time helping his patients. I was once there and another patient had to go to the hospital. He waited in the office with that patient and had his assistant let me know that he was sorry, but he had an emergency and would be with me asap. Also Glen is his assistant, he is awesome too!!! I highly suggest this doctor. My overall rating is a 9.9 since no one is perfect but this darned yahoo won't let me go above a 4.
