I loved how he spent 'real' time with me...actively listening...you can almost see him think through his plan for treatment, often times, talking out loud and critically analyzing the situation..helps me see how he gets to his diagnosis.he's thorough Sometimes he runs late, but so does everyone on occasion...emergencies do come up altho the staff should notify patients and give them the option of rescheduling...

I've been a patient for approx 15 years, as well as my daughter before she moved. Dr. Boccagno always takes the time to listen to what I have to say (complain about) and helps in any way he can. Most previous doctors I've been to don't take the time to listen

He does not go to the hospital if you are admitted. Your only choices are the residents there. His office staff is rude. Its very hard to get appointments. I have never had a wait of less then a hour. They put you in a room within 15 minutes......then you can count on waiting at least another 30 to 60 minutes while sitting in the room.

Do as he says without question and you will be okay. If you question him, you'll be sorry.

Dr. Boccagno has excellent bedside manner. He is always willing to listen and to allow the patient to help stratagize the best course of treatment. He orders test when needed and is careful about medication interactions.Simple one of the best physicians in NEPA.
