Dr. Phillip William Kempf, MD

He just wants his questions answered but seems annoyed to answer ours. Presumes facts without pursuing testing. Seems to want to address the rheumatological issue without giving equal weight to other medical challenges the patient has. Bedside manner is sorely lacking.

I have been seeing Dr Kempf for many years for my lupus. He is compassionate and knowledgeable. Once you get in to see him, he is great- but the front staff rarely answer the phone and don't return messages.

I don’t think I know enough praiseful and appreciative words to fully explain the gratitude and awe I have for Dr Phillip W. Kempf. That may sound a bit much but if you’re a rheumatoid and osteoarthritis sufferer like me you not only know the exquisite pain but also the draining and crippling disability that comes along with it too. And this why I’m most happy to give this review of Dr Kempf and the oasis/relief from pain, and the joy of getting back to living life that only his skill, attention, and knowledge provided. I met Dr. Kempf in 2008 when I had my first bout with my autoimmune disease. Forget the horrendous pain, (how could I), but I couldn’t work my hands or walk properly either. I was 58 years old and scared that this was how I was going to exist for the rest of my life. That was 11 years ago. I almost did back flips over how soon Dr. Kempf's treatments had me back to my old self. I’ve had a couple more bouts since then which needed adjusting treatments,… but under Dr. Kempf’s care I’m here to shout out loud that I’m playing sports 4x’s a week and living life very nicely. Thank you so much Dr. Kempf. You’re my hero not only due to your medical skills and knowledge but your contagious and thought-filled calm that was super healthful too.

The front desk is overwhelmed and short tempered. He may have great knowledge, but the worst bedside manner. He told me that I had lupus and when I asked what that meant he told me to look at the lupus foundation website and left the room. When I left the practice, I could not get them to share my medical records despite repeated attempts.

Very knowledgable, but bed side manner is a bit lacking

I have been treated by Dr. Kempf for over 10 years. He is always receptive and interested, and the staff has been very easy to work with.
