Dr. Phillip Roy Kingma, MD

Dr. Kingma is a highly skilled board certified doctor, and was the right Doctor for my Spine Steriod Injection. He is kind, straightforward and knows what he is talking about. He provided detailed explanations and literature for my symptoms, procedure and follow-up.

I worked with this guy. He was a jerk. He treated people poorly and was nasty to his patients. There are many other physicians that do these treatments. Go see them, you would be much happier.

We have had excellent experiences with Dr. Kingma and with Katie Witchard while dealing with our back pain. We have recommended him to others.

I was very sick. Fever, chills, sore throat, etc. Contagious. My reg doc says to rest. I had an appt with Kingma the next day. Called to reschedule. Was told I was past the 48hr cancellation policy. I must pay a hefty fee to protect the staff from an illness which was iffy 24 hrs ago? Nope. Now I must go because I cannot afford the fee to protect the doctor and his staff from my illness. Sorry all at this office, doctor included. Blame the rude lady who insisted I come in or pay up. (Can I note I have always been praised by other medical facilities for calling and alerting them of my contagious state and the need to reschedule an appointment? I was always immediately told I would not be charged a cancellation fee, too. My cancellation was appreciated very much. Not by this appointment scheduling person or whatever her position is at this office.)

I had a appointment today with Dr Kingma today, very nice Dr who listen to my concerns and willing to help me with my CRPS. I thank God.

Doctor Kingma and his staff at the Shadeland office I found to be Caring and professional,yet down to earth and easy to talk to. I found it easy to explain my condition to Doctor Kingma as well as his staff, they listened and asked questions to obtain a true picture of my condition. I have undergone several surgical procedures with Doctor Kingma and I find him to be a man of Faith and has no problem showing it. His bedside manner is comforting and shows his real compassion. I will and have recommended him to others. I was refered to him by my PCP who highly recommended him and as he stated to me " I only send you to the best ". He and his staff has been very helpful in so many ways, and I thank God for them. They are and will continue to be my Pain management team..

This office is terrible! The front office is incompetent. You can not reach a real person when you call and they do not return voicemails. The nursing staff are rude.

Dr. Kingma has a great beside manner. I've worked in healthcare with doctors for 40 years. He is very re-assuring and confident and you know he cares. You can tell his Nurse Practitioner cares. I am very happy with his clinic.

I have never met a doctor like Dr. Kingma. I am so impressed. He has helped me so much with my neck. I used to take pain medication but that never really helped. My neck is so much better since he has treated it.
