Dr. Phillip Kunisada Kiyasu, MD

Excellent medical skills. Only suggestion is that he wait to speak with the patient until another family member (if applicable) is present with patient to hear outcome/diagnosis. Patients who have just come out of a colonoscopy do not remember seeing doctors when a doctor comes in too soon after finishing the procedure.

Waiting time was minimal. The Doctor was very cordial, listened to my complaints and offered options. He was very informative and easy to talk to.

My recent procedure at the Oregon Clinic went exceptionally well, and was my first with Dr Kiyasu. I was very pleased with the professional service afforded me by Dr. Kiyasu and all of the attending staff.

Dr Kiyasu is very knowledgeable, skilled & compassionate. You are not rushed in any way & he personally follows up on any procedure that he does.He’s an amazing diagnostician .: A lost art. He discovered what was wrong with me, where other physicians failed to do. I feel I owe him my life

Dr Kayasu was excellent in terms of his communication and explanations to me. I had a colonoscopy that needed to be done again due to inadequate pre-procedure preparation, and he took the time needed to explain what had occurred, why it happened and my options. It was wonderful to not feel that he was rushed and for him to be patient with all the questions that I had.

careless about diagnosis disregards level of radiation patients receive from frequent imaging.

Dr. Kiyasu is outstanding. He personally follows up with his patients and takes the time to clearly explain diagnosis, treatment, procedures, etc. Scheduling at the Oregon Clinic is another story. They flat out will NOT ever answer the scheduling line. Instead, patients are forced to leave a message and wait for someone to return the call, so that's highly inconvenient. More importantly, every single time I have tried to schedule an appointment, I have had to call and leave messages on at least three separate days. I have had to call as many as six times over a two week period just to schedule. The scheduling at the Oregon Clinic is a disaster.

Relatively easy to get an appointment, but sometimes you have to play voice mail tag with Scheduling. Dr. Kiyasu is excellent. He answers every question, explains things in lay terms, and even calls to follow-up with lab results. I have recommended Dr. Kiyasu to others.
