Very thorough, direct and courteous. Took adequate time to explain the procedure, review images and expected outcomes. Staff has been helpful and followed through when questions or unexpected problems occurred. So far the outcome appears to be as expected: cyst and growth was removed Laparoscopically and recovery is progressing as expected. Initial follow up was positive and long term follow up awaits.

A kinked ureter and 2 unknown lymphoma growths posed a dilemma. Due to their location a biopsy not possible. Dr. was extremely thorough and cautious using MRI and PET scans to identify and accurately locate same. Options offered for removal and repair-thoroughly presented and discussed with surgery scheduled-I am comfortable and confident in the care of Dr. Mucksavage.

I am very thankful that I was in the care of Dr Mucksavage who removed a sizable stone and several more using the most advanced options. I presented to the ER with extreme left flank pain n&v and after the CT results were in I was provided with the options. I was in the OR within a short period of time and my pain of a 10 was 0 when I woke up in the recovery room. I can’t imagine a horrible situation that was so sudden in onset going more smoothly. Very thankful! Thank you!!

I was a mess through my diagnosis and treatment. He was kind and used humor to help me through, though clearly surprised at my strong emotions. He performed my surgery and did well to talk with my family afterwards about how well it went. He made them feel at ease. I'm glad that he will continue to be my doctor as I move forward with these issues
