Dr. Phillip Andrew Nulty, MD

While Dr. Nulty himself is a good doctor, his staff was absolutely horrible to me, from his office manager to his reception/billing staff. His staff member lied about an interaction where I asked about my copay (and was incredibly rude, just like a lot of the staff here), and then it never got addressed and led to the removal of my care when I was the one who was wronged. Rhonda is one of the absolute nastiest people I have ever met in my life, she repeatedly threatened me and was so awful to me when I raised a billing concern. It is absolutely unbelievable how poorly I was treated by the practice administration, and I desperately wanted Dr. Nulty to reach out to me and stand up for me and that never did happen and it still makes me sick to my stomach, especially being in the amount of pain I am. He left me in a situation where I desperately needed him, had to see another specialist without Dr. Nulty communicating with him (I had been waiting to see this provider and Dr. Nulty was… supposed to work with him), I had another provider order the CT scan that Dr. Nulty removed from my orders and left me without only to find out that I did in fact have radiolucency on the scan and it cannot be addressed by the provider who ordered the scan, I am in excruciating pain with this area that is worse than ever and I have no help. Dr. Nulty left me in a horrible mess with severe pain and symptoms, and I have hoped and prayed this whole time that he would go to another practice so I can see him there, and I hope he prioritizes his patient care over his horrible administration. They are controlling his ability to be a doctor and care for his patients. It is awful that he is letting them treat his patients horribly and that he is not standing up for his patients. I desperately needed him to do that and I never got to talk to him about the situation. He told another one of my doctors that he felt bad about it and that it was not his choice and that he wanted to keep seeing me, but he has the ability to make it right and still has control to act on what is best and it is very disheartening to not see him do that, to say the least. This has been one of the most heartbreaking situations I have ever had with a provider, especially given my history and symptoms. I was treated so badly and he allowed it to happen rather than stand up for me and do the right thing, and although I am still hoping I can see him elsewhere, it is very hard for me to reconcile this and wrap my head around how he could be letting Rhonda control his care of patients and treat them incredibly poorly. She is one of the meanest and worst office managers, and people period, that I have ever met and I will never forgive this situation. I absolutely loved him as a provider and that is why I sought him out during what has been the worst 8 years of my life. I am in constant pain, and they are well aware that ENT needs to be a part of this for so many reasons. I have excruciating pain that is not being addressed and it has been incredibly upsetting that Dr. Nulty did not seem to care how I was treated and has stayed at an office that has treated many patients poorly (read some of their reviews! There are ones that mention similar situations to mine and even mention Rhonda by name). I wish Dr. Nulty would listen to that, to his patients who are suffering at the hands of his administration. Still doing horribly, still suffering, still upset months later. I am doing horribly and I often look to see if he has left MOSA so that I can try to go back to him.
