Dr. Parham has over 20 years of experience serving the dental surgical needs of northwest GA.
For over twenty years, Dr. Parham has provided care for the advanced surgical needs of patients of northwest Georgia’s general dentists through Dental Implants & Periodontal Care, P.C.  In 1990, he established the first dental study club in the northwest Georgia area, which emphasized continuing education for dental practitioners in multiple specialty fields. He is also the founder of the state’s oldest chapter of the Seattle Study Club network.
Dr. Parham has been a leader in bringing technological advancements in dentistry to patient care in Dalton, with an emphasis on implant dentistry and bone regeneration therapies. His main goal of promoting Team Dentistry, where all dental specialties come together to serve the patients’ needs, is the hallmark of his personalized patient care.  He is proud to work with numerous fine general …dental practices in our area.
Dentistry & Specialty Training
Dr. Parham began his pre-doctoral career with an A.S. in Pre-Dentistry from Kennesaw College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from LaGrange College. He received his D.M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia’s School of Dentistry and an additional year of training in Advanced General Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska with the United States Air Force. Dr. Parham spent the next three years practicing dentistry in Montana before being selected by the USAF for advanced specialty training at the University of Missouri. His specialty training is in Periodontics, and he also received a Master of Science degree while at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.  Following his residency in Periodontics with the USAF, he was honorably discharged from military service and established his private practice in Dalton, Georgia.
Personal Life
Dr. Parham, a proud father of three and now a grandfather, is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, cycling, and rock climbing. He is an active member of the Dalton community who has sponsored (and acted in!) several theatrical productions through the Artistic Civic Theater. He also stays involved in community life by contributing to local charitable causes.
Dr. Parham is proud to work with an excellent staff to provide quality dental/surgical care and to serve his patients with expanded choices in tooth replacement and restoration through dental implants.
