My anterior hip replacement failed. Needed to be redone by another surgeon in town. Nice man, but I lost confidence in him when my pain kept getting worse.

Ridiculous wait times. Over 45 minutes in the lobby!!! Unacceptable. Will be finding another doctor.

Grerat experience

Went to him for years getting steroid injections for knee pain. He told me I was bone on bone and I would tell him I needed replacement when I couldn't take it any longer. After years of injections I went for a second opinion in Indy, I am not bone one bone, my kneecap is totally off center which causes friction. I have been babying the knee for years when I should have been strengthening and absolutely don't need a replacement. Consequently, the I have lost a substantial amount of bone density. I believe he's a very good knee replacement surgeon, but would absolutely get a second option before you get a replacement.

Dr. Stiver is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. He makes you feel very much the only patient he has to spend time with. He is professional, courteous and funny all at the same time. His expertise in hip replacement is unmatched in the area. Have never felt I was ever taken care of any better than with Dr. Stiver
