Dr. Phillip Michael Watson, MD

I was a prospect new patient. I was trying to establish a doctor patient relationship with this physician. I spoke with the front desk office personnel (Cindy) several times by phone trying to figure out my best options of care. Cindy is very nice over the phone, patient, and answers your questions! I stumbled upon some reviews about the doctor I was scheduled to see and became very concerned on what I read. Instead of calling back, I decided to stop in and see for myself and discuss my concerns with someone. Cindy greeted me and told me she's been speaking with me over the phone. It was a delight to put a face with a voice and name. She's just as amazing in person as she is over the phone! She's very warm and welcoming with signs of genuine concern for your services rendered to you. After sharing my concerns with Cindy in regards to my reads on the doctor, she suggested informing her office manager Wanda. I told Cindy it wasn't necessary because it's an individual concern not a… managerial concern. Wanda the office manager come over and Cindy begin to explain my concerns to her. Wanda with a very unwelcoming tone and disapproved look on her face says directly to me: "It seems that you need to find you another doctor because you already have gathered a negative opinion on him. I'm sorry that you feel that way. Maybe that would be best for you. What website did you read those reviews from? " she asked. I told her Google, webmd and this very site that I'm writing on. She responded, "I don't go on the internet much. I'm going to have to look into that and see what you're talking about. In the mean time i suggest that you simply cancel and find you another doctor somewhere else." Standing in shock but holding composure I say ok. Cindy still had hope for my visit being a pleasant one. She insisted that I try one of the wonderful nurse practitioners that were staffed there instead. She even went above and behind to see if I could be introduced to one just to break the negative feelings i had gathered from reading about this doctor. So I said sure. They weren't available. But then here comes Wanda (office manager) is everything ok? Cindy assures her that everything is fine she was trying to set me up to see the nurse practitioner instead of the doctor. Wanda said, "No. She needs to cancel because the doctor oversee the nurses and he could still want to see her. She need to cancel and find her another doctor." I said, "You are right. Since you have come over here twice and insisted on me finding someone else I will cancel and continue my search." I did pull up the reviews to show Cindy the front desk personnel what I was referring to. She was shocked in dismay. I told her that i didn't want her or her office manager to think i was lying about what I read in regards to their doctor. I encouraged her to please give her manager the sites I visited so she could read them also. I was very disappointed in this whole experience with the exception of Cindy trying her hardest to make things right and tried giving me the option to choose a nurse practitioner. Wanda was very disconnected with my concerns. She didn't care how i felt, was more concerned about me getting out of the office.

Arrogant, condescending,

Dr. Watson is old schooled and has old furniture and equipment. His method of doing things is looking it up when you are there. You may have an appointment for 11:00 put can expect to wait for over an hour. Getting prescriptions refilled really sucks and hard to deal with. If you are looking for an Old School Doctor and Old School ways he may be good for you. If it was not for his great staff I would have been gone long ago.

This Dr believes that no one is as great as he is. He acts like his word is all that matters and no one except him has any sort of knowledge. He belittled his patients, yells at them and has never treated my father the way he should. He has ignored many serious issues or treats them incorrectly and never follows up as he should. He will tell you one thing and then the next visits acts like it was never said before. He is very wishy washy and I have no confidence that he would be able to provide the medical care needed for his patients.

For this man to even call himself a physician is amazing. He is a HORRIBLE doctor. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He treats patients and his staff disgustingly and has a huge patients turnover because he is SO BAD. If you care about your health NEVER SEE this man.

No nonsense care by a brilliant practioner. He takes time to listen, answers questions in plain-spoken terms and prescribes practical care and treatment. He shows compassion and real concern about my health and wellness.

Had to go to the e.r. because he said i was ok to return to work...he doesn't listen at all. Im changing doctor's

This Doctor spends most of his time preaching and politicking. He has no bedside manner. Is obnoxious and seemed more interested in converting me to his religious and political views. I would absolutely never recommend him .

obviously, this "doctor" has a means of removing unfavorable reviews, (i wrote one before that has now vanished) which is no surprise, because i found him to be an unethical, doctor who uses the bully pulpit of his medical degree from oral roberts university to hammer jesus into vulnerable patients and to be willing to outright lie to deal with obstacles in his bully path (like me). without going into detail i will just say that, unless you want a whole heaping helping of guilt as your diagnosis and a prescription to "turn back to the lord" as your only hope for cure, you should avoid this man's office. he is, in my opinion, a danger to medicine. i have selected no stars because there isn't an opportunity to rate with NO stars.
