Dr. Phillis Maxine Boyd, DO

Thanks to Dr. Boyds' efficiency and medical knowledge of her patients physiological condition at each office visit i was early in life aware of my heart condition (which if ignored could easily be fatal) . Dr. Boyd noticed irregularities in my vital signs and questioned this for such a young and healthy patient. I was sent to a laboratory where it was discovered that i have tachecardio (spelling?). Because she advised me of potential risks and how to care for and monitor my rare condition i have had virtually NO complications or dangers as a result of my hyper active heart rate. i have worked out all of my adult life and learned to live within certain limitations . thanks Dr. Boyd, You are the greatest.

The staff there is absolutely horrible. The rudest receptionist's i've ever seen. As well as incompetent. Billing error's that you end up just paying, to avoid any contact with Dr. Boyd's billing staff. They are down right obnoxious. Literally start arguments with you, it's a nightmare. I tried to telephone Dr. Boyd about my on- going problems with her staff and found out that one of them talked her into just dropping me as a patient because I told her I was going to report her to Dr. Boyd about her unprofessional-ism. So here I sit without any prescriptions that I dearly need without a Doctor. Dr. Boyd did not even have the decency to call me back after being a patient of hers for many years. I mean what kind of a Doctor does that. Well I guess all things happen for the best and I will move on and I sure wont miss her horrible staff.

I love love love doctor Boyd! She is the epitimy of what I am looking for when I see a doctor. However my largest complaint would be the staff. They are indifferent to whom ever may enter the door. I will not say all of them but a few who answer the phone and put you on hold for an obnoxious amount of time, or the few who seem to flustered to deliver a decent hello after you initiated it. I really dont understand it. To be around such a positive person and still be flat is a problem.

Long wait in the waiting room without an apology, explanation, nothing! There are several 100 doctors in the phone book I will not sit and waste my time in their waiting room for an appointment booked over a month ago. They can charge us for being late or missing an appointment and we have to sit and take it...NO YOU DON'T!!

I have been a pt of Dr. Boyd's for 15 years. What a wonderful doctor. Her Office Manager Marcy is very kind, considerate and makes you feel like she cares about you. If you need something done she will get it done for you. I would recommend this office to anyone. Keep up the good work Dr. Boyd and Marcy. :)

I love Dr Boyd she is the only doctor that has ever helped me. She cares what happens in my life and is always there to help. She found the reason for my migraines after several doctors couldn't, as well as sent me the best surgeron for my back surgery. Her staff is wonderful and they are as kind as she is. Although I will admitt it took me awhile to feel welcomed by them. The only major CON about my monthly visit is the wait. Don't misunderstand she is well worth the wait but plan on sitting there for over an hour before even getting to the exam room. The only other CON is her waiting room chairs. They are NOT comfortable and after my appointment I'm finished for the day.With all that said I would and do recommend Dr Boyd she is truely an excellent doctor and person.

Dr Boyd is the best. She has been my doctor for many years. She is compassionate, listens, and is excellent at what she does. As another reviewer said, she is a friend. I can't say enough good things about her.

I visit Dr. Boyd bi-annually for one reason only...prescription renewal.First of all I wait in the waiting room for at least an hour each time no matter what time of day it is. I then wait another 10 or 15 minutes for Dr. Boyd to enter the room. She knows why I am there so she quickly will enter info into the computer and then she will send me out the door to make an appt. for the next visit. What a waste of my time! I called today and was put on hold for 26 minutes!REDICULUS!

Wait can be long, but she's a great doctor who really cares and trusts her patients intuitions.

Phillis Boyd is an excellent doctor.She has been our family doctor for over 20 years now, and I feel she is not just only my doctor, but my friend. She has always been there and been right with her diagnosis of all of our health problems. She has always sent us to the right specialist when we have needed extra help. I TRUST HER WITH MY LIFE. I would and have recommended her to anyone that has asked me about a family doctor who cares about her patients, and Dr. Boyd cares deeply for her patients.She is WONDERFUL!!!!!Her staff is very professional and always greets you with a smile and a friendly hello. The only problem with seeing Dr. Boyd is, if you have an appointment make sure you give yourself plently of time, because if you want a doctor who takes the time with you just remember she takes that same time with all her patients. She does not run you through her office like cattle. She truly cares about YOU
