Dr. Phoebe Yihsi Chen, MD

I made an appt 6 months in advance. About 2 months in advance they canceled the appt and did not offer to reschedule. Unbelievable.

I feel blessed to have Dr. Chen as my physician. I worked in medicine for 27 years. She is the epitome of empathy and professionalism. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Phoebe Chen is an excellent, well trained physician. And she has great empathy for her patients.

The worst bed side manner I have ever seen. Acts impatient and like you are bothering her by being there. My guess is the good reviews are not from real patients...maybe her staff

on my first visit the doctor took little time to understand my issues. She prescribed 4 things for me, getting 3 of the prescriptions wrong-- wrong dose, wrong number, etc. A friend with a serious heart problem was told she couldn't handle it and had to seek a new doctor. Definitely well below average in my experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Chen now for a few years and have recommended many friends and family. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is always willing to sit down and listen. She is wonderful with diagnosing with questions that we would think were irrelevant. She is always willing to send you to specialist if she feels it is needed as she did with my mother who needed a heart doctor. All I can say is we have tried our local doctors and were always disappointed so we now drive the 30 miles just to see her. And I might add that it is worth it!
