I was a patient of Dr Vu for 5 years. I can't say enough on what a great and helpful doctor he was. I will miss him very much. Does anyone know how he passed away. He always seemed like he was in great health.

Being a retired Army vet after an IED stopped me in my tracks I underwent 5 back surgeries courtesy of the VA and have been left in excruciating pain. I was having to wait weeks to get an appointment at the VA, when a colleague of mine told me about Dr. VU. This was life changing for me. Dr. VU and his staff treat patients like real human beings, they are very prompt with their appointments, know you by name and emit a genuine sense of care for their patients. With the help of Dr. VU's injections and medications I am now able to lead a fuller life, be more involved and engaged in my family and community. I thank him and all the staff at Orange Coast Pain Center for that. They stand true to their mission- Treat your pain, Live your life.

20yrs of chronic pain, multiple back surgeries, worse off than when I started. The cold weather does not help. Dr VU got me in quick, registration and initial evaluation was very efficient, did an injection in my back while I watched the procedure on his X-ray machine, felt relief as I was walking out the door. This rarely happens, I’m glad I was recommended to him and will keep seeing him as long as my insurance allows. He gets it and from the way he talks and does procedure you can tell this isn’t his first rodeo.

Dr VU has been my doctor for 2 years now, Usually people only write reviews if they are unhappy, I feel compelled to write a review about him. Dr VU and staff are wonderful. He spends time talking to you and understand your needs. He is not pushy but firm and explains why he recommends the course of treatment that he does. I have been follow his instructions and treatment plan and am in a better place now with my pain control. I would not hesitate to recommend him for those suffering in pain and wanting to gain quality of life back again.

I have seen Dr. VU for some three years and I am so happy to report that he is the best pain management Doctor I have had up to date. I have moved several times an had to have several pain doctors over the years. I know with doctor VU that he has my interest at hand and his as well. It's such a touchy thing to be doctor , to want to relieve our pain but careful not to over sedate us, he has so many alternatives to offer as well as pain meds. He is ethical and decent and I can talk to him about anything pertaining to my well being and he is supportive. He performed a radio frequency on my lower back , just two weeks later and I am preparing meals , standing longer, walking around more. I am so pleased with my care, he is dependable, and his nurse is unbeatable and so gracious and caring. I never have long wait times, cancelled appointments, he always greets me with a smile, you can't hlep but to love them both..

After having 5 major surgeries performed in one day I was left with multiple grafts anchored into my pelvis & damaged piriformis muscle which left me in severe pain & on multiple different medications & pain pills a day. I am a mother of two active kids & going thru life sedated or like a zombie was not for me but seemed the only options doctors had until I was referred to Dr. VU . They are always quick to answer the phone, always call you back and even call to check on you after procedures. The staff at Dr. VU’s is always courteous, compassionate & professional. There is never a long wait, and they greet you with smile. Dr. VU never rush thru their appointments, they take their time truely listening to you to help you the best way possible, to get you the best outcome. I am on the least amount of meds. than ever thought possible (generally 2 pills a day -1 pain & 1 Topamax for neuropathy), along with X-ray guided Injections have me working & doing what I love most, keeping up with my… husband and kids doing things I was told I would never do again like hiking & rock climbing. They truly care about their patients & I am thankful everyday for Dr. VU, I couldn't live productively with out them.

Short wait times, listens to your needs, and do not charge you more than what insurance will cover. I am in late 40's and have degenerative disks, problem in back, and SI Joint. I have been treated like a drug seeker by a couple Dr.'s in my life but this was the first place I felt like they really care. One of my last appointments was just supposed to be a quick check-up, I told them I had a new pain and with in 10 min. I was getting an injection just because they had some free time and didn't want me to have to come back. What ever the insurance covers is fine for him. I have never been to a place like this. They are not out for money, but to truly help you with your pain.

I found Dr VU by looking online for a doctor that had great reviews because I have horrible back pain, and I am so glad I did. He is caring, understanding, compassionate and he listens. I first went to another pain doctor in Newport Beach, and he said he does NOT prescribe medicine. He offered to check my insurance about an injection. I was crying by the time I left his office. Dr VU gave me an injection on my first visit. The other drs office called me 3 weeks later. Thank you Dr VU!!
