Dr. Phu Thien Nguyen, DO

Dr. Phu T. Nguyen has the best bedside manner of any of my doctors. He always greets me with kindness, a warm handshake, asks how I am doing and sincerely listens and cares. He is always teaching med students and explains things thoroughly to them and to patient with respect to everyone in the room. What a blessing he is and unusual these days in a world of ego filled, money fueled medicine. The students have no idea how blessed they are to learn from him, and their future patients will benefit. I am so thankful for him and his excellent care.

If you are overweight he will make you feel uncomfortable and insecure about it. I requested to have a procedure done and they gave me an appointment time without asking if it would work for me. When they called to confirm the appointment they asked me to come 15 minutes early, which I did. I proceeded to sit in the waiting room for 1hr 30mins before being called back for my procedure. I’ve had the same procedure done in the past; Dr. Nguyen took twice as long performing it, and it hurt twice as bad. He also had two surgical students in the room helping him; I get that students need to learn, but no one asked my consent. When the procedure was finished, they put two small pieces of tape over the gauze and said it needed to stay on for 24 hours. I was walking out when a front office member said hold on, and put more tape over the gauze so that it would stay. Shouldn’t the Dr. or nurse have done that? Dr. Nguyen and the nurse also seemed overwhelmed with patients.

Dr. Phu is a very compassion and caring for his patient. I m very impressed with his health care prodived for me while I was under his care. In my opinion, he is the best

I have been with Dr. Phu T. Nguyen for almost 10 years and yes he is a very great doctor. He is always tells you everything you need to know about your health. He is friendly and easy to talk to.

It's a very terrible experience I had with this office! I had an appt on Jan 21, 2014 at 0830am! I was there 15 minutes early & waiting till 945am but being called to see doctor yet! I came to the counter & checked to see when it would be my turn! I was told just a moment! I continued to wait till 1030 but no one in the office bothered to let me know what's going on! Therefore, I again came to the front desk & asked what would be my turn! Just a moment, I was told again! Then I wait till 11 pm, no one bother to inform me anything even just for courtesy & respect! So I came to the counter again & told them I need to leave if I won't be see! They were careless & did not even try to accommodate me! I got home my daughter called me & said they called her & lied to her dr. Nguyen needed to see me for follow up in the afternoon! My daughter was so worried & thought something was wrong with me! My daughter didn't know I was not seen at all by dr. Nguyen! No courtesy & respect were found at… this office! I was not sure dr. Nguyen's aware about what was going on in the front office!
