Not very knowledgeable! Seems confused.would not reccommend this Doctor.

Very incompetent. Rude. Can not handle much.

I have known Dr. Harris for over 20 years and during that time I as well as my family members have had their fair share of bumps and bruises, some more severe than others which required surgery. Every time I have visited her office I have found her staff to be attentive to my our family members problems and upon exam to diagnosis of the problem she has always taken the time to listen to our concerns, she is in fact our family Doctor for one particular reason alone, she is very knowledgeable about her profession and she truly cares about her patients health., But more importantly no matter what the ailment may have been she has gotten us back up and going with either little or no side effects from the incident that lead us to seek her out .Results is what I or anyone else wants when it comes to seeking medical advice and she has repeatable proven to us she can accomplish that. In reading other comments attached below, yes some are right that her office may seem a little bit… cluttered, but I as well as my family members do not seek to critique her office, we go there because she is our family Doctor seeking her insight into her profession. In reading other comments below, I have noticed a common thread, that their comments fail to note, yet the comments do allude to it. As a physician I am sure Dr. Harris has seen many patients over the years with each one having their own personal problems. Some problems as the comments suggest are due to age, others I can only assume are due to lack of exercise, eating hobbits, smoking or more complicated than that. A Doctorâ??s job no matter how painful at times it may seem to be to the patient, can only administer so much provided the patient is willing to comply or has the means to do so. It is the patientâ??s responsibility to follow the Doctors advice and recognize that the human body no matter how indestructible it may of once seemed or unfailing does have its limits. Yet today we ignore these facts and when something does go wrong in this make believe perfect world we have created for ourselves, we seek to blame others for the realities of life. My point here is simple and taken from my personal observations, Dr. Harris will tell you directly what the problem is or leading to the problem with sugar coating on it if you prefer because she cares about you and that your behavior in part maybe leading to the medical problem you are experiencing. A truth that no one today wants to admit or a truth that time is getting the best of us all as it always has. Nevertheless it should be pointed out here Dr. Harris is not a home health care aide; she is a Doctor that cares! So if you are looking for a fast food Doctors practices that rubber stamps you on your way out, then you would best to go elsewhere, but if you are looking for a family Doctor that truly cares and understands their profession I suggest you give her a call and in time you will find that everything I have stated here is true! i dont care what yall say, Dr Harris has been taking care of me since i was in my teens. im 36 now. the staff is very kind and always cared about me, even my children if i had to bring him in. i was seen properly and diagnosed properly. i recommend her highly. yes she works out of her house, but i feel it makes you feel at home and not in some "DOCTORS" office.

Everything seemed fine when I first began going to Dr Harris. Then I began having severe stomach pain - she told me to "get a job" to take my mind off it. I asked to be referred to a specialist - she laughed and said no reason to see one. The pain became blinding - still no referral. Finally, one day I collapsed, was taken to the hospital and stayed there for over a month! My body was in such brutal shape the Surgeon could not operate on me. I was sent home with a pic line since I was unable to eat. A nurse had to come to my home 2x a week. After three weeks, the Surgeon called and said it was imperative I return to hospital for an operation. Stayed in hospital for another (3) weeks. Later I was told I almost died. Now, as a result of all the damage done, I am on disability, can no longer drive and unable to work. Dr Harris and her ego, changed my life forever. Oh, did I mention that during (7) weeks of being in the hospital never did I see or hear from Dr Harris! Unreal

I was a patient for over 10 years before moving on to another physician. The office was a mess. Files and papers piled high on every surface including the floor. I don't know how someone would find something if they needed to. I've never seen any other medical office look that way. As the other reviewers mentioned, she is rude to patients and especially to her staff. In terms of diagnosis/treatment, I had a serious medical condition that seemed outside of her area of expertise and wanted a referal to a specialist who was trained in treating it. She said no and that people just had to "work it out" and wanted to write a prescription for me. I later found out that there were financial incentives for her NOT to refer me to a specialist and that was probably what was driving her diagnosis/treatment behavior. Thankfully, I was educated about my conditon and options and had the confidence to get second and third opinions. Prior to that, I had let her bully me as I figured she's a Dr., she… must know what she's doing. In my opinion, she would not be a good Dr. for people who are vulnerable, as they could be easily manipulated. Just my opinon based on my experiences.

I've been seeing Dr. Harris for many years. She works in an office in the basement of her home. It's an old-fashioned medical practice - no big staff, no modern office complex, and yes, the office is a little cluttered. I've never doubted her medical knowledge and abilities. She'll spend plenty of time talking to you about your health and life. She won't just tell you what you want to hear. I've made same day appointments several times and with very little wait time. There is no waiting for simple blood tests and she calls with results next day if anything to report. This is not a slick, high volume, practice. I like it there.

I have been going to Dr. Harris since i was a young teen. im now in my 30's and her and the staff are the most caring people. they treat me like family. i feel very comfortable every visit. Dr. Harris always knows what to do when im not feeling well. i recommend her to anyone. another plus is that her office isnt the "typical medical office building" its a more personal office.

Excellent doctor, finds problems that other doctors miss.

I feel that this doctor is not professional at all.She yells at her patients and staff all the time.The office is not up to state regulations at all for being clean.I have not been a patient long and I am not happy.I am looking else where for a doctor.This is not a normal doctors office.You are not treated with respect.
