Dr. Phyllis Carolyn Leppert, MD

After having my second child with Dr. Leppert, I was feeling awful in the hospital with chills and then sweating profusely during the night. I would ask for a blanket only to find myself sweating a little while later. I also wasn't feeling comfortable like I had after my first child. After going to the bathroom, I found that there was something coming out that wasn't supposed to be there. I thought it was an organ only to realize later it was gauze that Dr. Leppert and her staff had forgotten to take out while performing my episiotomy. I was in the ititial stages of septic shock due to this and this was why I was feeling so awful. Luckily I had went to bathroom and noticed this myself because no one else had. After telling Dr. Leppert this, she didn't really have much to say. This happened in Rochester in 1993. She moved to Buffalo, NY not to long after. Not sure why??
