Dr. Pierce Kendal Dixon III, MD

I was having pain in my lower right side for months, stomach issues, and stones in my appendix. I decided to visit here for a second opinion. The first visit went well and the Dr. thoroughly checked me out. He said we could do more tests like a MRI of my lower intestine or colonoscopy, but said he thought they would be normal. He told me there was a chance it could be my appendix and if I wanted it out to call him. So I scheduled my surgery and went back to sign my consent forms the next week. The doc looked at my chart and did a 180. He said I needed to get the MRI and INSISTED I get it done at a specific location in Gwinnett (very suspicious, since other places can do it also), and backtracked that he thought it could be my appendix. He also wrote down my symptoms wrong and tried to put words in my mouth! I'm livid that I wasted time scheduling my surgery, completed pre op, took time off work for the procedure, and then he changes his mind. On top of all that I'm still in pain!I will… say that the rest of the staff was very helpful, especially his nurse.
