Dr. Pierre Berry

Dr. Berry is one of the best doctors I've had the pleasure of going to. He is attentive, understanding, and actually LISTENS to his patients. Always gives helpful insight and explains everything clearly. I highly recommend to anyone!

My first visit at Dr. Berry's offive was a complete nightmare. I've been going to the exact same weight management place on and off for years that does not except insurance. So a friend of mine told me about the reflections program that Dr. Berry has at his office so I made an appointment. Worst mistake ever! When he came into the room he told me that on my medical data from pharmacy had multiple background of narcotics and phentermine. First thing I thought was OK someone has sold my idenity. BUT he never ask why I had narcotics...Last year I got a tooth pulled while pregnant, I had a c-section and 4 weeks later had my gallbladder removed. So 3 different docters giving me pain meds for a GOod Reason! And I've always went to the same place to get phentermine but they have a branch in lafallette, knoxville, and oliver springs so it look like I was going to all of these when in fact I only ever went to the one in Oliver Springs. I was so embarrassed and he should have ask me questions… before jumping to conclusions and treating me like I was a drug shopper! I will never be back to him again. I felt so degraded. March 2016

For my first primary care visit since moving to Florida this was my overall experience with the good doctor. Aside from waiting 40 minutes when the doctor only had one patient in his office this doctor bilks the insurance company and the patient with trumped up charges. He asks me questions about the medication I am on and then charges for a consult. Yes really! I ask for a specific type of blood drawn along with the regular blood test, he asks me why, I get a charge for another consult. I want a flu shot. He asks me to return another day (another office visit). I insist he give it to me. Then he wants another office visit to go over my blood results. Really!!! It's two minutes on the phone!!!! He must be desperate for income to try these tactics. There was no one in the office when I left in the middle of the day! The girl who weighed me did not know how to operate the scale. She had me between 275 and 300. I weigh 117!!!!! Then it was another 10 minutes until she… could operate the blood pressure cuff!!!!!! The thing is I felt the doctor was quite knowledgeable. But sadly his methods will be found out.

This office is ridiculous!!! DO NOT be late. I don't care if u get stopped in traffic due to an accident. I was 11 minutes late and I called to advise I was behind and why. Donna or whoever the short lady at the window immediately rescheduled me for a week away. I drove 2 hours because I like Dr. Berry that much. He is great and so is Becky. I can't even talk to Becky unless u get lucky and she answers. The control freak Donna won't let u speak with Becky even if u ask. She is terrible and has no people skills or compassion. Call there and see for yourself. I owned and operated an insurance agency for 17 years. If she performed that way in my office, she would be fired. I mean come on. I drove over 2 hours to be told turn around and drive 2 hours home then do the same next week. Fired, she would be. Needless to say they are no longer my provider and would not recommend to anyone. Dr. Berry is awesome if u can get to see him. 48 hour appt guaranteed my a.. ! Took me forever to get in.… If she left there or if I didn't have to deal with her I would love to see Dr. Berry....sorry so long just wanna be thorough.

Dr. Berry has been our family doctor for over 11 years. He has guided us wisely through cancer scares, heart conditions, neck problems and all the normal childhood sicknesses of our daughter. We recommend him to all of our friends. He is a wonderful doctor and an outstanding Christian man.

This doctor spent more time with me than any other in Crossville.
