The only good thing that comes out of this experience was that I got pregnant, her nurses they are horrible I had to keep following up with them constantly for them to knowledge my case, don’t get me wrong few of the receptionist was pretty cool . (Nurse Donna) she was the WORST I’m just going to leave it as that . u only see Dr. Kodmen onece are twice Throughout the whole procedure, honestly all the care about is if u have insurance..

Amazing doctor, however the staff could use a attitude adjustment

We met Dr. Kodaman 3.5 years ago and have had the best experience with her and her staff. My partner and I are both young healthy females with no reason for infertility. We did multiple IUIâ??s each and I did three rounds of IVF, with one chemical pregnancy, and a current pregnancy of 10.5 weeks. Every time we met with her we felt like her only patients of the day and she took the time to explain everything to us patiently. The process was well laid out and knowing how hard it is get into her schedule she always recommended how far out to book our next appointment. We love how she is realistic but still manages to phrase it in a way that inspires hope and reassurance without feeling mollycoddled. We always leave her office feeling very confident in the next steps. She is very responsive to MyChart emails and she clearly cares for her patients and the outcome as she tries to do as many egg retrievals and transfers as she can. We feel that she handled our case very well and her… attention to details is what eventually managed to solve the underlying issue. I know that she took extra time to research our case and consulted other physicians even though what I had was not serious but was just taking longer to resolve than she thought it should. The staff at REI could not be more amazing. The administrative support, the nurses, the Fellows, and the labs work to make a very clinical process warm and supportive. You spend a lot of time with these people during the process and their support makes a challenging process much less stressful. We are missing them now that we are at regular Ob-Gyn. We cannot say enough about how much our time with Dr. Kodaman and her staff. She is an incredible doctor not only because she is smart but also because she cares about the person as a whole which is hard to find in medicine these days.

You mostly deal with her nurses (there are quite a few of them so it's almost always a different person that you speak with). It's almost impossible to schedule an appointment when you need it. On average you have to wait at least a month regardless of your issue or whether you are a new or returning patient. It's very difficult to speak to her outside of appointment, and you never see her during IUI treatment. I think you see her once or twice for IVF. She doesn't follow up with you after unsuccessful IUI unless you actually schedule an appointment (for which you have to wait a month or so). She is very nice once you do get to talk to her, but otherwise it's a very frustrating experience.

Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have been referred to Dr. Kodaman. She is so understanding and comforting, yet so bright and knowledgeable. She thoroughly and carefully assessed my issues, kept me in the loop about everything, and explained every little detail to me, over and over at times until I understood exactly what was going on. I had a laparoscopy performed on me by Dr. Kodaman. Again, she explained the procedure thoroughly to me, what to expect, how to prepare, and how to recover. The incisions are tiny, beautiful, couldn't ask for anything better. She well-prepared me for the surgery and her staff was there to support me every step of the way. Follow up appointments have been wonderful with her. She doesn't rush through the appointment, remembers our prior conversations (and personal details about me which means a lot), and we take our time in evaluating treatment options. Overall what I am trying to say is that it is very rare to meet a doctor who doesn't make you… feel like you're just a number, rushes you in and out of the office, and gives you standard lines for responses. I know exactly what is going on with my body, what I am going through, and it is because she takes to the time to answer all of my questions, even if they are silly.
