If only there were gentlemen like him back when I was diagnosed in 1983. I had a fine doctor, but he retired. DR. O, you are so special you should be happy every day for the rest of your life. God Bless, sir.

Prescribed wrong med and dosage, patient was hospitalized. A nurse found the error and Dr. O denied it, even though it was in his notes.

Our daughter has been under Dr. Olkowski's care for nearly 20 years. Originally, she had been treated by 4 other Psychiatrists, none who were successful in helping with her condition. Dr. Olkowski is the person who correctly diagnosed her, removed her from the harmful medications that had been ordered by others, gave her the proper medications, and worked with her and her therapists to obtain her success. She graduated the program, lived on her own for over ten years, and has even managed to successfully accept her cancer, which placed her permanently in a wheelchair. This man recognizes the importance of working with a patient's family, as well as her many other doctors, and has been trusted by our child throughout the entire time he has treated her. We cannot give him enough accolades for all that he has done to help our daughter attain success and live successfully with her mental illness, which has been under control now for many years. Our 37-year old daughter is now in a nursing… home due to a stroke last year, but she still travels from more than 90 minutes away just to continue under his care. That proves her trust in her Psychiatrist, Dr. Olkowski
