Dr. Piotr Troyan

Dr. Piotr Troyan is an extremely professional dentist who has a wealth of knowledge and a kind heart. He saw my sister who has severe cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and developmental delay. She needed a tooth extracted and every dentist she went to wanted her to be hospitalized for the procedure and put under general anesthesia. Dr. Troyan was the only dentist, amongst the numerous ones she sought care with, who was willing to simply give her a mild sedative and a local anesthetic to remove the tooth. The procedure went well, my sister had no pain, and the area healed quickly. Dr. Troyan is a fantastic dentist, but his staff is just as competent and empathetic, and his office is exceptionally clean and organized with state-of-the-art equipment. My family is extremely grateful to Dr. Troyan and his staff for taking on my sister’s difficult case with such great care and highly recommend him for anyone seeking expert dental care, especially for more complicated cases.

Although the dental office is beautiful and clean, the attempts to reduce costs went too far, leaving the health of patients in jeopardy. While treating me, Dr. Trojan was taking care of other four patients and delegating his work to untrained dental hygienists. He missed a serious condition of my tooth, causing harmful consequences. Patients need to be willing to take a risk and allow assistants to receive training on their teeth. I felt like being on an assembly line that made me insecure and not able to trust the staff. The practice focuses too much on the cash flow, the employee turnover is high, and work results are inconsistent. There is no transparency in the billing process. Payments are collected at the time of the visit. Once fees are adjusted to meet negotiated rates with insurance companies, the office does not make reimbursements and keeps the money. I was happy with regular tooth cleanings, but I would not recommend this practice for more advanced dental work.

Highly recommend Dr Trojan. I had wisdom tooth extraction a few days ago, everything went perfect. Gentle and professional service.
