Dr. Purani Pavai Palaniswami, MD

We saw her 6 years ago and because we disagreed with her approach to treatment (or lack thereof), there was a verbal disagreement. As a result of this, she banned us from being treated not only in her specific office but by the entire medical group at Elmhurst. I've complained and tried to get this removed from record on 2 occasions but to no avail. This is affecting our ability to schedule with other doctors of a different specialty, which directly affects our healthcare. If there was a way to sue her for compromising the health of a patient and violating her hippocratic oath to "do no harm", I sure would.

She is an amazing Doctor! She took the time to listen to what I was going thru, and we found a salutation together. It took me 3 doctors to finally find a doctor that cares so much!

If you are a new patient, I do not recommend Dr. P and here are the reasons why: 1. She did not review my medical history prior to my visit. 2. She does not seem educated about Lupus and ways to manage it 3. She prescribed me medication without a proper diagnosis . This list goes on.... I do NOT recommend Dr. P!!! If you care about your health, do not go to her.

Great Doctor! She really wants to help each patient receive good care. She's thorough and staff is kind. I feel blessed to have found such an incredible doctor!

Very poor review of my medical record that was sent to her much ahead of time. She didn't do her home work that a specialist is supposed to do.overall, a very poor performance.

Dr. Palaniswami was the doctor that understood how I was feeling. Always listens and thoroughly exams every single joint when I see her. Before seeing her I could barely walk pain free, my hands hurt so bad. Has a wonderful personality always gives me 150% of her attention to me during my visit.
